Fortunately, it persisted and now has opened a second store east of Yijiawang, giving people who love Chinese cakes another place to go.

How many Daoxiangcun stores are there in Zhuozhou? I seem to have only seen two stores, one on Dongxing South Street, and the other is on Fanyang Road, west of Erkang Hospital. The two stores belong to Sudao and Beidao respectively, not the same company, but they both focus on southern food, especially southern pastries. The one on Fanyang Road is Beijing Daoxiangcun, a Sanhe brand. It’s close to home, so I go there often. I have relatives from other places who like Beidao’s snacks, so I can’t help but pack a box and express it over from time to time. I also often go there to buy some specialties such as sugar-coated steamed buns, ox tongue biscuits, braised beef, and braised pork elbows. I really like their garlic sausage. Some people say it’s not as delicious as Harbin red sausage and dry sausage. In fact, there is no comparison. They are not the same kind of thing.
