TheForkUserI have been a regular visitor to Englishes for many years, it is my favourite place to eat in Brighton, when I visit from London. On this occasion I brought a friend to celebrate her 60th birthday. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious as is their house champagne! It was relatively quiet inside the restaurant as the majority of the customers were sitting outside. The service was excellent.
TheForkUserExcellent service from Joseph who was friendly and helpful. He gave us excellent advice and made sure we had a great visit. The food was excellent as always.

_TI***daThe vineyard tour was both informative and entertaining, and the setting for lunch was beautiful. The nettle bhajis were especially delicious, and the cocktails were a nice touch.
TheForkUserService was good. It was a long queue to be served but the chef was very quick and efficient. The waitress was good so was the food. Only the lady at reception could have done with a bit smile.

TheForkUserSix of us spent New Year’s Eve having a truly delicious meal in a really relaxed atmosphere. Matt our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. A big shout out to the barman - the pineapple spritz was a delight! When we had finished our meal we moved into the bar area and saw in the New Year with some live music (excellent guitarist!). Make this your choice for next New Year - we will certainly be back. Thanks to all at The Mill!
_TI***8nThe restaurant has a nice casual dining vibe in a country setting. Although the service was a bit slow during busy times, the overall experience was enjoyable.
TheForkUserFine quality food served quickly and pleasantly. This is hard to do in a theatre restaurant but the Brasserie achieves it.

TheForkUserMy friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
TheForkUserGreat pizza and beer. My friend managed to down the wine with ease, saying it was lovely. I had the truffle pizza and will be back! The staff are all real Italians and really friendly.
TheForkUserGreat food in a more casual historical pub setting. The food standard is very much fine dining (genuine "gastro" pub), and we really enjoyed our lunch.
TheForkUserVery nice place, food was good, the restaurant itself is nice. I've got to say we've had better Turkish food in less expensive places. The waiters are very nice but I would say service was slightly slow. I would recommend this place though.
TheForkUserLovely to have the choice a about how the fish is cooked. Love fish and chips but wanted our fish grilled for a change and it was well cooked served with lemon and parsley butter. Wine good, food lovely. Good value.
