TheForkUserBeautiful day with a wild sea and very cosy restaurant made us very happy . The barrata, fish soup and steaks were all excellent, tasty and well presented . Professional service with a smile topped off a wonderful experience.
TheForkUserWhat a great restaurant. Unique dishes with modern twists. We really enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and the great quality of the food. I cannot understand how this restaurant does not have a higher score on google. It really deserves its honorable mention in the Michelin guide.
TheForkUserEverything was perfect! The restaurant itself is so stylish. The service was impeccable, and the food was so delicious! We walked out very happy. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserAn amazing restaurant!Intimate space with only a few (lucky) tables. Delicious and creative food that one can tell took so much thought, care and time to make absolutely perfect. Outstanding service. Wonderful and unique. Recommend highly!
TheForkUserEverything was absolutely wonderful especially our lovely server MariaThe food was excellent and the service exceptional!
TheForkUserCharming, cozy, traditional restaurant. Super helpful staff. Large healthy salads and really great grilled meats. Fado singers included! Would definitely eat there again.
_TI***gyNotes Bar and Kitchen is a hidden gem in Coimbra! The cozy atmosphere and attentive staff made my visit truly special. The mushroom croquette and burrata salad were highlights of the meal.
_TI***f1This typical Portuguese restaurant offers an amazing dining experience with friendly owners and great service. The food is full of flavor, reminiscent of home cooking, and never over-seasoned.
TheForkUserDelicious francesinha, definitely one you should try when in Coimbra, with a rich and lightly spicy sauce and tasty pork filling. Fair price, good and friendly service with a cool environment. They only open at night and accept portuguese credit cards.
TheForkUserAmazing food and ambience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended
TheForkUserExcellent food at fair prices. The service, given the level of the restaurant, could be improved—otherwise, it would have been a five-star experience. The starters are outstanding, and the Seabass rice is an absolute must-try. The dessert selection is also impressive
TheForkUserIn the upper side of the city, the locations was beautiful! We had a buffet lunch that was very delicious, with a good choice of plates. The view over the city was incredible! Very nice place!!
TheForkUserThis was my second time dining at Solar do Bacalhau, and just like before, it did not disappoint. The food is outstanding, Naturally, we had the codfish — and it was absolutely superb. The service is top-notch — attentive, friendly, and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back again!

TheForkUserWe all enjoyed our meals. It’s a shame that wanting to have some Chips with our main meal was lost somewhere and they didn’t arrive in time.
TheForkUserIt was the second time I went to this amazing restaurant. Amazing sushi, amazing service and very comfortable atmosphere.
TheForkUserGreat Portuguese restaurant in the middle of a neighborhood. The two of us split three dishes and it was plenty. Bacalao a bras great, garlic shrimp delicious and then a creamy risotto. Friendly waiter and good value for the money. Definitely recommend.
_TI***k1This restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere and excellent service, making it a perfect spot for celebrations like birthday parties.
TheForkUserThe food was authentic and delicious. I had the sea bass. My husband had the veal steak. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The vegetable accompaniments were excellent. Service was friendly and competent. Altogether a wonderful experience.
_TI***ftThis place is a hidden gem! The ambiance is lovely, and the dishes are creatively presented. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience.
TheForkUserSamuel was fantastic! Very attentive and able to cater to allergens. Food was cooked very nicely and the home made tirimisu and crème brûlée were DELICIOUS!
TheForkUserThe service was excellent. Filomena and Sara were attentive, prompt, very personable. Food exceeded expectations. My mom and aunt were with us and they are elderly and handicapped. The dinning room is on the 2nd floor. Access only with winding and long staircase. No elevator. I find this very disappointing and demonstrates lack in caring for the older and disabled population.
TheForkUserWe were definitely positively surprised: stunning place, some of the best food we've had in Portugal and very fair prices. We were staying in Penacova and it is well worth the 30 min drive.
TheForkUserVery good but I consider it expensive. There are other similar sushi restaurants ata better price and also with a good offer.
TheForkUserAmazing food and one of the best sangria I’ve ever drank!! Small portions though, but soooo worth it. Lovely ambience and team
