The grilled octopus was crispy on the outside and tender inside—really well done. Truffle bread was a nice extra too. Portion felt a bit small for the price though.

Loved the vegetable quiche here. You can really taste the freshness of the spinach and mushrooms, and the crust was light, not greasy at all. A perfect little healthy lunch spot.

Been coming here for years. Lunch menu changes daily, always solid. Chef does some interesting combos you don't see everywhere. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

The panini was decent—grilled well, cheese melted through. Vegetarian one had good flavor too, not just boring greens. Ate it fast because I was hungry, didn't regret it. Fine spot to grab something quick before the boat. Nothing fancy, but the food does the job.

Best pizza I've had in Lugano so far. Crust was chewy and light, reminded me of Naples. Didn't expect much walking in but it really hit the spot. Prices fair for what you get, especially for this area.

Got a table on the terrace without a booking, which was a win. The view over the square is so nice, and the shade from the awning was perfect for a warm afternoon. Just sat there with my carbonara, taking it all in.

Service was spot on—friendly without hovering. Portions felt fair for the price, honestly. Place was busy but we never waited long. Solid pick if you're in the area.

A lovely little trattoria. The pasta was delicious, and the prices felt fair. What really stood out was how comfortable the seats were – you could settle in and relax for the whole meal. A nice, easy spot.

The salmon was excellent, and their house white wine was a perfect match. Attentive service too.

Good location right on the square facing the church. Had a late afternoon coffee here. The view is the main draw, service was fine. Prices are what you'd expect for the spot.

The restaurant offers a unique fusion of Piedmontese and Japanese cuisine, with delicious dishes that are beautifully presented. The staff is very knowledgeable and provides excellent explanations of each dish.

Bellosteria is a hidden gem with a cozy environment and a menu that showcases modern takes on traditional dishes. The service is exceptional, making it a place I would highly recommend.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a margherita plus the salami one. Crust had that nice char, chewy in the right spots. Toppings tasted fresh, not overloaded. Service was fast, no fuss. Place is small but cozy, and they let my dog sit inside, which was a plus. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a proper pizza without the tourist markup.

The terrace got the evening light just right. Pizza was solid, around 22 CHF which isn’t cheap, but the crust had that proper char. Had it with a German beer, pretty relaxed vibe. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe slightly overpriced for what it is, but I’d sit outside again.

The blues playlist and dim lighting made it easy to settle in for the evening. Nice pour on the wine too, though I wish the glass had been a bit fuller. Good spot to unwind.

Loved the idea of picking your own steak at the counter! My ribeye was cooked perfectly medium-rare, so juicy. A fun little ritual before the meal even starts.

Decent spot with a good vibe. Drinks were on point and the staff was friendly. Place had nice energy, though it got a bit loud later on.

The location is super convenient right by the bus stop. I popped in for a coffee and a croissant while waiting. The space itself is bright and airy, which was a nice change of pace. The tables are spaced well, so it doesn't feel crowded even when busy.

The owner remembered my exact order when I came back a few days later. That kind of personal touch is so nice. The pastries were lovely, and everyone was so patient with my terrible Italian. Really made me feel welcome.

Service is spot on. They don't rush you with all the food at once, which is nice for a quick lunch. You can actually enjoy your meal without feeling hurried. Place is big and comfortable too. Good for a fast bite.

The fresh-squeezed orange juice here is the real deal. Not too sweet, just pure, bright citrus. It's the kind of simple thing that can make a meal. Got it on a hot afternoon and it hit the spot perfectly.

Been coming here for years. The piadina dough is always fresh, you can really taste the difference. Simple, honest food made by good people. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. The pizza's always solid, thin crust with fresh toppings. They've got a few decent veggie options too, which is nice. Nothing fancy, just reliable food.

The made-to-order sandwiches are fantastic, so fresh and generously filled. I really enjoyed watching them being assembled right there at the counter. It made the whole lunch feel very relaxed and easy.
