Had a lovely stay here. The room was comfortable and well set up. The staff were really friendly and helpful, made everything feel easy. The village looked beautiful in the autumn. Enjoyed the food, it was tasty and well-prepared. A nice, relaxing break.

A lovely, clean pub with a proper pint. The staff are so friendly, which makes it a really comfortable spot to relax.

The lamb chops are the thing to get here. Cooked just right, not too gamey, with a nice char on the outside. Juicy inside. I'd order them as a main next time, the portion as a starter left me wanting more. That's the only dish I'm really thinking about.

Popped in for a casual dinner with a couple of mates. The vibe was just right for a catch-up—really cosy and relaxed. The food was proper hearty, exactly what we needed. Service was lovely, no rush at all. A solid spot for a low-key hangout.

Been coming here since I moved to Oxford. Food's always tasty, never had a bad meal. Portions are decent for the price. Just a solid, reliable spot when you want something good without fuss.

The pizzas are always fresh, straight out of the oven. I like that they keep them coming. The salad bar's got a decent choice, and you can just keep refilling your drink. It's a simple, easy setup.

Service was a real highlight. Staff were friendly and attentive, made sure our glasses were never empty.

The salmon was nice, but honestly, the bread selection stole the show for me. The tapenade and olives were just so good. That little detail made the whole lunch feel a bit more special.

The buffet's got a great spread for the price. I liked the high ceilings and the relaxed feel of the room.

The Mediterranean chicken was lovely, really enjoyed it. The space itself is nice, feels light and airy with those big windows. Good spot for a relaxed lunch.

The fish and chips are always fresh. The batter is so light and crispy, which I really liked!

Nice spot for a drink. The outdoor seating is really comfortable, and the staff were friendly. It was a bit quiet, but that's fine.

The manager kindly found us a table on a busy afternoon. Earl's service was attentive and he checked in a few times. A decent lunch spot when you need something reliable.

Louise was super helpful when we were ordering. She explained the specials really well, and her suggestions were spot on. Made the whole thing feel relaxed.

A solid spot for a group dinner. The lamb karahi was pretty good, and the chicken on the bone is definitely worth ordering. The atmosphere is nice, not too fussy. Service was a bit slow for our big table, but it was fine overall.

Stumbled upon this place after lunch. The low lighting and comfy seats are just right for a gloomy day. Ended up chatting for hours, barely noticed the time. The background music was a nice touch, not too loud.

The prayer room was a really nice touch for a family meal. It was spotless and had plenty of space, which made it so much easier for our group to settle in. A thoughtful detail that made the whole evening more relaxed.

A proper pub feel here. The bar staff were friendly and the real ales were spot on—had a lovely pint of Bathams. Just a nice, welcoming place to be.

Been here for breakfast a few times now. Food's always hot, comes out quick, and you leave full. It's just a solid, reliable spot for a morning bite.

Ordered via the app, very easy. We were a large group upstairs and the staff were so lovely, really accommodating. Made the whole evening feel relaxed.

I visited with some family members for a meal to celebrate a birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the carvery meal a day thought that the staff were very helpful and friendly. The surroundings were also very good

Tom at the door was brilliant. He got us a table straight away with a big smile, no waiting around at all. The whole service was super quick from start to finish, which I always appreciate.

Another good Toby. Lamb was on, a nice surprise midweek. Staff are excellent especially Nova, 100% positive and just a lovely person! I was very late due to a fire in Birmingham. No problem, friends waited for me and table organised, a quick car reg entered and go straight to the yummy carvery. Great friends catch up over a lovely carvery.

Giorgio and his team were so on top of things for our big group of 26! Everything came out hot and together, which made the night so much smoother.

Chicken Dhansak was the standout for me, really rich and flavourful. Paired it with a glass of Rioja they suggested – a surprisingly good match with the spices. The paneer dish was decent, but the wine pairing was the highlight.

The fish and chips here are solid. The batter is crispy and the chips are proper.

Our wedding dinner was perfect. Carlo and the team were so helpful from the start. The space was lovely for our small group. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Morgan was brilliant on the day, letting us decorate just how we wanted.

Been here a few times now. The food is consistently decent. George was our waiter this time – really attentive, made sure we had everything. It’s a reliable spot.
