We had an appi featuring different olive oils paired with the proper foods to eat them with. Had a roasted Octopus that was cut with a fork it was so tender. Great desserts and house made Amaro. TheForkUserWe were driving to Bari from Lecce and wanted to break for lunch. This popped up and the place is chic and has a elegant ambience for a celebration as well. We were there for casual lunch and the service was extremely friendly, patient and polite. We ordered our dishes as we ate as we couldn’t decide how much we wanted to eat and the food arrived quickly as we ordered. Seafood of sea bass, prawns, scallops, salmon were fresh and light and the sushi rice well seasoned. Highly recommended!Al Coltello

TheForkUserWe were staying overnight near Bari Centrale and found this gem of a restaurant near our AirBNB.Don’t let the neighborhood fool you, this is a great restaurant with lovely ambience.Staff were friendly and efficient and spoke English fluently.The food was excellent, we had seafood meatballs, Carbonera, and Amatracina. Fresh handmade pasta was excellent and sauces were rich snd tasty. Tiramisu for dessert topped off things quite nicely. The house red wine was quite good as well, although only sold by the glass versus carafes.If you find yourself by the Bari Train Station for an evening we would recommend Peppo without hesitation.Mavi Cafe-Bistrot

I had the grilled cheese and then the Tranese cod dish with a side of grilled vegetables and my husband had the tagliere board and the lamb skewers. The ambience was a little different than expected but just because it was calmer, not because it was bad.
