Loved the vibe here. So calm and peaceful. The decor is stunning, really makes you want to just sit and stay a while. Perfect spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years, and the green/red card system is what keeps me coming back. It's just so simple. Lets you actually enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. Servers always spot it right away.

Sat outside with our pup, and they brought him a slice of bacon without us even asking. That was a really nice touch. Moved inside later and it was just as welcoming.

The food is full of passion, and the house red was a surprisingly good match for the rich flavours. A proper family-run spot.

The garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onions was a nice touch. The place had a good buzz to it, though it was a bit loud for a quiet chat.

Came with a few mates. The food was solid, generous portions, and the staff were really attentive. I was pleased they had a decent Malbec by the glass—went perfectly with the steak. A good spot for a casual dinner.

The crab risotto was lovely, really creamy. My husband couldn't stop talking about his salmon, said it was the best he's ever had. We just sat there, quietly enjoying our food.

Been coming here for years, and their lunch deal is still a solid choice. The focaccia and a couple of small plates for £20 hits the spot.

The steak and ale pie was spot on - the pastry was so light and buttery. I liked the high ceilings and the big windows, it just felt really spacious and calm. A good place to just sit and enjoy a meal.

Food takes a bit to arrive as it's all cooked fresh, but that's fine. The chicken gyro was really nicely seasoned. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable while waiting.

Curry was spot on, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The kheer dessert, served hot with jaggery, was a real highlight for me. Just a solid, straightforward meal.

The mezze platter was a lovely start. But the grilled lamb skewers were the real star - so tender and full of flavour. Turkish coffee to finish was the perfect, slightly bitter endnote.

This pub has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, especially the steak pie and chicken schnitzel, both cooked to perfection.

The refurb is so nice, really fresh and modern. We grabbed a table upstairs and the disco lights were such a fun touch for our group! Made the whole night. The food was good, staff were lovely.

Came here with a few friends last Friday. The staff were so friendly, it really made the evening. We just wanted a chill spot to catch up, and this place was perfect for that. The vibe is exactly what you want from a local pub.

Came for a quick lunch. The burger was solid, fries crispy. Service was fast, got my order in under 10 minutes. Perfect for a speedy bite between meetings.

The margarita here is a standout. Really good balance of tequila and lime, not too sweet. Just a solid, classic version done right. One of the better ones I've had around Chester.

Loved that we could bring our dog inside! The chai latte was really nice, creamy and just the right amount of spice. Staff were super chill about us customising our brunch order too.

Tried their festive menu last week. The Christmas specials were really well done, chef clearly knows his stuff. Portions were decent for the price. Bit of a wait for the main course though.

Lovely spot tucked away from the main street. Sat on the terrace with local beers on tap, really enjoyed the relaxed vibe.

Lovely pub, and the beer garden is a real gem on a sunny day. The atmosphere is always lively, which is nice. Just a heads up, it can get quite crowded, so maybe aim for an off-peak time if you prefer a quieter spot.

A lovely spot that welcomes dogs indoors as well as out. They had water bowls and treats ready for our pup, which made the whole visit so much easier. Really appreciate a place that thinks of the small comforts.

Lovely old pub, really welcoming. The outdoor space is fantastic for families, with a proper play area for the kids. A proper village pub feel, which is nice to see.

Decent spot to watch the rugby with the kids. The staff are sound, and the pub dog is a nice touch. Pints are a bit pricey, but you're paying for the atmosphere.

Loved the croquettes here! They've got a Welsh twist that made them a fun little surprise. The rest of the tapas were solid, but those were the standout for me.

Always feel comfortable eating here, knowing they take cleanliness seriously. The 5-star hygiene rating is a nice reassurance. Food's always solid too.

Nice spot for a quiet chat. The old building has a cool vibe with some modern bits inside. Food was decent, but the main thing was just having a relaxed meal without any rush.

My Japanese mother is quite fussy, but she approved. The ingredients tasted really fresh, which is lovely.

Been coming here for years for the Sunday roast. The beef is always cooked just right, not dry at all. Comes with all the usual bits - Yorkshire pudding, roasties, the lot. Good portion for the price. It's my regular spot.
