Came for the weekend seafood boil. It's a decent portion for the price, you get a good mix of shellfish and corn. A nice change from the usual fish and chips. The pizza looked generous too, might try that next time.

The pappardelle with mussels and fennel salami alla vodka was spot on. Pasta cooked perfectly, sauce had a great depth.

Popped in for lunch, the pasta was really good. Fresh ingredients, simple but tasty. Staff were nice about a last-minute change to my order.

Food's always hot and fresh, which is a nice touch. The space itself is cosy, with these warm wooden tables and soft lighting that just makes you want to stay a bit longer. A proper little find.

Been a regular for ages. Their lamb shank is always fall-off-the-bone tender, just like the first time. That kind of reliable spot is hard to find.

Been coming here for years, and the BBQ platters are always spot on. The meat quality is consistently top-notch. Sometimes I find a few cuts could use a pinch more salt for my liking, but that's a small thing. It's the reason I keep coming back.

Came for a quiet dinner. The ingredients felt really fresh, especially the greens in the starter. You could tell they source well. Kieran, our server, was attentive and knew the menu inside out, which helped with my dietary questions. A nice spot for a mindful meal.

Lovely little place. The owner is so warm and welcoming, really makes you feel at home. She even gave us a sample of their homemade shumai - a nice touch you don't see much anymore.

Great spot on West Gate Road. The Middle Eastern desserts were a lovely surprise - so tasty and beautifully presented.

The fish tikka was so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Really appreciated the quality of the ingredients.

The falafel wrap is solid, and their house red was a surprisingly good match. Decent value.

Lovely owners, and the portions are generous for the price. It's a simple, no-frills place, which I appreciate. The seats are a bit basic, but that's fine when the food is this good.

The lamb shank was the star for me - so tender it fell right off the bone. The rich gravy was perfect for dipping the mash. A really solid, comforting dish.

Been coming here for a couple of years now. The food's always solid. Once had a bit of a mix-up with the bill, but they sorted it out super quick and even threw in a couple of extra bits. Nice touch.

Been coming here for years, it's my go-to for a quick bacon sarnie and a cuppa. The scones are proper homemade, still warm sometimes. Staff are sound, they remember your order. Prices are fair for the area.

Popped in for a quick lunch. What I really appreciate is how fresh the sandwich fillings always are—you can tell the ingredients are just prepped. The coffee is a nice touch too. A reliable spot for a healthy bite.

Popped in for a quick bite while in the neighbourhood, as usual. The steak was spot on. What really stood out was the house red they suggested – a robust Malbec that paired beautifully with the meat. A bit pricey for the pour, but it made the dish.

The fish and chips were pretty good. The batter was crispy and not greasy, which is always a plus. It's a family-run place with a decent menu and fair prices. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Quick, friendly service. The beef noodles were fantastic, and they had a great wine list that paired perfectly with the rich broth.

The staff were lovely, really welcoming. It's got that proper local cafe vibe. But I have to say, the portion sizes for the price felt a bit on the small side. My eggs on toast was tasty, but I was still a bit peckish afterwards.
