Stayed here for a couple of nights and the outdoor seating area was the best part. Mosquitoes showed up around sunset though, so bring repellent if you plan to sit out. Beds were decent and it was quiet enough to sleep. Staff were sound, no complaints there. For what we paid, it felt fair.

Been coming here for years and it never really changes - that's what I like about it. Barman still remembers my usual order. Pool table's still got that same wonky leg.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying longer than I planned. The walls are covered in old photos and local history, proper pub feel. Music was traditional, not too loud, just right in the background. Didn't eat this time but the food coming out of the kitchen looked decent. Place has real character, the kind you don't find as much anymore.

The owner actually emailed me about replacing a tote bag after I'd already flown home. Coffee was solid too. Really thoughtful touch.

The veggie soup with their brown bread was proper comfort food. Had a glass of white to go with it, worked a treat. Sat outside, lovely view of the fields.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a seat outside. The pizza was solid, proper thin crust. I had a glass of their house red with it, which worked well enough. Service was friendly without hovering. The outdoor area is a bit of a hidden gem, quieter than the street suggests. Wouldn't mind going back to try more of the menu.

Coffee’s always spot on here, and the scones are proper good. Handy wee stop after a wander round the area. Just wish they’d open a bit later on Sundays.

The staff knew their wine list inside out and were dead sound about it. Pasta was proper too, not fussy or overdressed. Just solid cooking.

The early bird menu is solid value—seafood tagliatelle was fresh and properly seasoned, decent portion too. Probably the best pasta I've had around here in a while.
