We popped in on a quiet evening and grabbed a seat near the piano. Staff were lovely, left us to chat without hovering. The oyster martini was a bit of fun, tasty too. Only slight thing, the music was a touch loud for talking, but nothing that ruined it. Cozy spot overall, would happily go back for a relaxed drink.

Had dinner here with a couple of friends and honestly the bay view is the main character. We grabbed a table by the window and just watched the water while we ate. Fish was really fresh, no complaints there. The homemade bread was a nice touch too. Service was grand, not too fussy. Would come back for the atmosphere alone. 🌊

Stopped by for lunch and Yune took great care of us—attentive but not hovering. Oysters on the half shell were the standout. Really solid spot.

The beef and Guinness pie here is the real deal. Proper rich gravy, decent chunk of meat. Pints are grand too. My usual spot when I'm in Galway.

Stopped in after walking around Eyre Square. The seafood chowder wasn't great, bit watery. Beef was salty too. Staff were sound though, sorted us out quick. Handy spot if you're nearby and hungry. Maybe just grab a pint instead of a full feed.

Found this spot upstairs - proper hidden gem. Had the steak and it was cooked exactly right. Portions are decent for the price. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciate.

Solid spot for a quick pint. Staff were efficient, no messing around. Gets busy later on, so come early if you want a seat.

The orange wine list caught my eye straight away—proper interesting stuff by the glass, not the usual boring picks. Staff actually knew how to talk about them too. Tuna tartlets were spot on, really fresh. Hamachi crudo was good but honestly the wine was the highlight for me. Lovely little spot if you're into natural wines.

Great whiskey selection, and the staff actually know their stuff. Asked for a recommendation and they nailed it without hovering. Nice spot to grab a bottle to take home too.

Been coming here for years and it never really changes - that's what I like about it. Barman still remembers my usual order. Pool table's still got that same wonky leg.

Stopped in for a pint and ended up staying longer than I planned. The walls are covered in old photos and local history, proper pub feel. Music was traditional, not too loud, just right in the background. Didn't eat this time but the food coming out of the kitchen looked decent. Place has real character, the kind you don't find as much anymore.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a seat outside. The pizza was solid, proper thin crust. I had a glass of their house red with it, which worked well enough. Service was friendly without hovering. The outdoor area is a bit of a hidden gem, quieter than the street suggests. Wouldn't mind going back to try more of the menu.

Took a few extra minutes for the food to come out but they sorted us with a coffee while waiting. Nice touch. The red ale on tap was solid too. Good spot if you're in the area and not in a mad rush.

The fish and chips were proper crispy, flaky inside too. Beef stew was dead tender, loads of flavour. Service quick enough, no complaints.
