Cocktails were solid, that Spicy Cucumber one had a proper kick to it. Gabi looked after us well, friendly without hovering. Place had a good buzz about it.

Stopped in for brunch last Saturday. Got the pressed sandwich with smoked salmon&mdash;really tasty, no complaints there. Chai latte was on the sweeter side, which I liked. Menu&#39;s small but everything looked decent. Most plates around a tenner, fair enough for the area. Staff were sound, didn&#39;t rush us at all. Place was busy but not mental. Wouldn&#39;t mind going back if I&#39;m passing.

The Guinness here is seriously good&mdash;creamy, proper pour, one of the better pints I&#39;ve had in Dublin. It&#39;s a proper local&#39;s pub, nothing fancy, just a bit rough around the edges. Gets packed though, like shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar, but that&#39;s kind of the charm. I&#39;d go back just for the pint, honestly.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. Got the veggie curry, plenty of options which is handy. Food was tasty, no complaints. Staff were sound and didn&#39;t keep me waiting. Place itself was clean, felt genuine. Not the cheapest but fair for what you get. I&#39;d go back if I&#39;m in the area again.

The lamb shank was properly falling off the bone. Good portion for the price. Worth stopping in if you&#39;re passing through Beechwood.

The Pollo Funghi pasta was proper comfort food, creamy and well-seasoned. Decent portion for the price too. Just mind yourself around the area after dark, it gets a bit sketchy.

Came back three times during our stay. Karl and the team were spot on. Irish stew and fish and chips were solid, but the stout bread was the real winner. Lively spot, decent value for the area.

The pasta special was proper homemade, really fresh and tasty. Loads of options on the lunch menu too, sandwiches, burgers, pasta. Service was quick and sound. Good spot for a catch-up with mates 👍

Cozy spot with a proper traditional feel &mdash; loved that you could see into the kitchen through the pass-through window. It looked spotless the whole time, which honestly made me trust the place more. Didn&rsquo;t try anything too adventurous, but the vibe alone would bring me back. Maybe next time I&rsquo;ll go for the full Irish breakfast.

The wings were class, really well done. Just wish they had a blue cheese dip on the side, that would&#39;ve made them perfect. Fish and chips was decent too.

Popped in before the rugby match, place was absolutely rammed. Still managed to get a seat though. Burger was proper good, decent size and the patty had a nice char on it. The girl serving us was sound, really helpful when we were trying to decide what to get. Not the cheapest but you&#39;re paying for the location.

The beef burger here is honestly one of the more reliable ones I&#39;ve had in a while. I like that you pick your own toppings, keeps it simple. The patty was cooked properly and the shoestring fries were decent. Not a fancy place, but the ingredients tasted fresh. I&#39;d go back if I&#39;m in the area again.

Steak was decent for a midweek dinner, and the tiramisu rounded it off nicely. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, like the tables were too close together. Not a huge deal, but I noticed it. Wouldn&#39;t mind going back if I&#39;m in the area, just maybe on a quieter night.

Tiny spot, gets a bit hectic at lunch rush. But that dulce de leche latte is worth squeezing in for. Quick in and out if you know what you want.

Been coming here for a while now, and the full Irish breakfast never lets me down. Proper portion, decent sausages, and the coffee is always spot on. Place gets busy enough at weekends, but that&#39;s a good sign I suppose. Still my go-to for a lazy brunch when I can&#39;t be bothered cooking.

The French toast and brunch wrap were spot on this time&mdash;eggs soft, salmon a nice touch. Owner even threw in a free brunch after our last chat. Proper care for customers.

Grabbed a chicken fillet roll here at lunch. Meat was proper juicy, not dry at all. Fried pickles on the side were crispy, exactly what I needed. Service was quick, in and out in ten minutes. Solid spot if you&#39;re in a rush and want something decent.

Mick&rsquo;s a proper gent, told us how the place started. Buttermilk chicken tenders were unreal, beignets finished it off nicely.
