Full Irish breakfast did the job - solid portion, decent price for what you get. Staff were quick and didn't fuss around. Handy spot if you're passing through and need something filling before heading off. No complaints really.

I had a fantastic brunch at Balfes! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff were welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Right next to the station, so it's handy. Bangers and mash were solid, service was quick enough. Decent spot for a pint and something filling before a train.

Good coffee and the staff were lovely. Place is small but cosy enough. Had a sandwich and it did the job. Fine for a quick coffee stop in Dublin.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Beef and Guinness pie was unreal, proper comfort food. Staff were sound, even brought out a sparkler for the birthday girl. Only thing was it got a bit busy later on, but that's on us for booking late. Solid spot for a feed.

Came for the Sunday roast and the beef was spot on, really tender. Roasties had that proper crunch I look for. Portion size felt fair for the price. Place was buzzing with the match on, so not the quietest, but that's part of the vibe here. Left full and content.

Got the Too Good To Go bag—6 pastries for €3.49. Staff let me pick which ones I wanted, which was nice. Croissant was still flaky, not soggy at all.

Sushi rolls were massive, loaded with fresh fish and veg. Rice was spot on, honestly the best I've had outside Japan. Agedashi tofu and the house tempura mix were solid too. Portion size for the price is fair, no complaints there. Place was busy but service kept up fine. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Daily specials are solid, good value for what you get. Food came out fresh, service was friendly enough.

The chowder and shrimp were pretty good, fresh and well done. Service was fine, just a bit of a wait.

The sticky toffee pudding was unreal, and the muffins are super light with that crispy top. Proper little spot if you're wandering around the area.

Portions are proper generous and the prices aren't bad for what you get. I popped in for a quick lunch and left properly full. The seating area is a bit cramped though, felt a little squeezed in by the table next to me. But for the quality of the food, I can't really complain. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Grilled squid was proper. Charred cabbage side actually stole it a bit, really good. One of the better ones I've had in Dublin, no messing. Worth the money for sure.

Pasta was solid - that beef short rib ragu really hit the spot. Cozy enough inside. Portions could be bigger for the price though.

Decent sushi spot. Got the mixed rolls and they were fresh enough, pretty good actually. The noodle dish was a nice option for someone who doesn't do raw fish. Dessert surprised me a bit, not what I expected but fine. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're in the area it does the job.

Got seated in about 10 minutes despite the Sunday rush. Avo toast and shakshuka were solid, decent portions for the price. Service was friendly enough. No complaints.

Stopped in for coffee and a slice of cake. Place is small but has a nice buzz to it. Music was decent, not too loud. Cake selection looked good, had the chocolate one. Fine for killing an hour or so if you're in the area.

Hot chocolate here is proper stuff, thick and rich. Turkish coffee's a nice option too if you fancy switching it up. Pastries looked decent but didn't try one.

Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The prawn dumplings were proper good, and the crispy enoki mushrooms had a nice texture. Staff were sound, no hassle at all. Place has a decent buzz to it. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Convenient spot across from the museum. Food was solid and the bill felt fair for the area. Service quick enough.
