The staff are so friendly, really makes the place feel cosy. Love all the little details in the decor too.

Came in near closing on a Sunday, still got a warm welcome. The pork broth was the star &ndash; packed with black pepper, celery, and potato. The garlic bread was spot on too. Portions were generous for the price, felt like a proper meal.

Convenient spot for a quick bite. Had the goats cheese and red onion chutney toastie. It was tasty, decent portion. Service was efficient, got my order in and out without a fuss. Good for the price point.

The coffee is top-notch, and they have a nice selection of pastries to go with it. A solid spot for a quick caffeine fix.

Popped in for a sausage sarnie and a cuppa by the fire. The bread was lovely and fresh, proper good quality. Staff were really nice too. Just a shame the sausages were a touch on the dry side for my liking.

The Chicken Kiev pizza was the standout. The garlic butter sauce soaked into the crust nicely, and the chicken was surprisingly moist. The calzone was fine, but the pizza was the one I kept going back to.

Been coming here for a while now. The menu&#39;s got some really interesting, unusual dishes mixed in with the classics. You can tell they use good stuff. Always a solid meal.

I was really pleased to find the upstairs seating area. It&#39;s a clean and cozy spot, a definite upgrade from just grabbing takeaway. I could focus on my meal, and the ingredients in my salad tasted wonderfully fresh.

Booked afternoon tea at Slayley hall. On arrival shown to table set up in the main restaurant which was unfortunately very noisy due to amount of people in there. Asked if we could have it in one of the smaller rooms and we were  shown to the whisky snug which was perfect for afternoon tea.  Waiter who looked after us was amazing and we felt like nothing was too much trouble. He explained everything that was on the afternoon tea and options. The food was lovely and very fresh and the surroundings perfect for an afternoon tea.

The chorizo sausage roll was a standout, really flavourful. Paired it with a glass of their house red, a nice rustic blend that cut through the richness. The vegan pie was decent, though the pastry could&#39;ve been a bit flakier. Solid spot for a casual bite and a drink.

Grabbed a cinnamon bun on a whim. That aroma when you walk in is something else. Went perfectly with a strong black coffee - a simple, solid pairing for a quick stop. The bun itself was spot on, warm and gooey. Just what I needed.

Portions are huge, and the stir-fry hot pot is really flavourful. Good value for a filling meal.

Liked the choice of seating areas, some spots are much quieter than others. Service was quick on a weekday afternoon.

The show was fantastic, the performers were so talented and full of energy. The atmosphere was electric, we were completely engaged the whole time.
