Took the family here for a birthday. The staff were really on it, checking in without being pushy. They handled our big table smoothly, even when we were a bit all over the place. Made the whole thing much less stressful.

Been here a few times to catch a game. The spicy chicken stack burger has a decent kick, not too crazy. Plenty of screens around, even in the booths, which is handy. It’s a solid local spot for that.

Been coming here for a few years now. The food is definitely better than your usual pub grub, but you do pay for it. My steak and ale pie was lovely, but at £18.50, I was hoping for a slightly bigger portion. Still, it's a nice treat.

Popped in for a weekend brunch with my mates. The bubble and squeak was spot on, really hit the spot. Staff were lovely and chatty, didn't feel rushed at all. Perfect for a lazy catch-up.

Stopped in after a walk along the Thames. The fish and chips were decent, but what stood out was the freshness of the peas and the side salad. Really crisp and clearly not from a packet. The local ale was a nice touch too.

What a difference a chef makes! In a town of fake food restaurants, we are so fortunate to have A Cena where the dishes are freshly cooked and the welcome is always warm.

I always appreciate how fresh the ingredients are here. Habib and Taj are so attentive, especially when I order takeaway.

The American breakfast was a treat. Loved how fresh the ingredients were, especially the eggs and tomatoes.

The mixed meat roast on Sunday was really flavourful. Abbie was a great waitress, super friendly and helpful.

The steak and ale pie was the standout. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the filling rich with tender beef and a deep, savoury gravy. That's what I come for.

The food was fresh and flavourful. Portions were generous for the price. I did notice the service was a bit slow when we wanted the bill, but the food itself was spot on.

Stumbled upon this spot for a burger craving. The classic cheeseburger was spot on - juicy patty, melted cheddar, and the brioche bun held it all together without getting soggy. Just a really solid, no-fuss burger. 🍔

The beef and mushroom dish was so tender! Really generous portions too, came with all the cutlery. A solid find for a casual dinner.

The lunch set is good value at £25 for three courses. The presentation was nice, service was prompt.

Finally found a proper Döner in London! The meat here is actually juicy and not swimming in oil, which is a nice change. Just a solid, tasty kebab.

Lovely staff, always so welcoming. They remember my usual order and ask about my week. Makes it feel like a proper local spot. Just a bit of a wait for the bill sometimes, but it's a nice place to be.

Came back twice for the meze tapas during our Brighton trip. The homemade lemonade was a real find too – so fresh and not overly sweet. Just a lovely, relaxed spot.

Been coming here for years. The bacon and venison pie is always solid, proper hearty stuff. Even the cabbage on the side has some thought behind it. You can tell they don't just chuck things on a plate.

The staff are so lovely, makes you feel right at home.

The veggie burger here was solid, with a nice char on the patty. Paired it with a local pale ale from their taps. The pub cat wandered over for a quick hello, which was a nice touch.

The staff were friendly and professional, checking in to make sure we were happy with our meals. Service was warm and attentive.

Tyler was our server and honestly made the night. He was so on top of things without being overbearing, and had a really chill vibe. Felt like we were just hanging out.

The Sunday roast was really good, especially the halal option. The place just feels clean and welcoming, you know? The staff were lovely.

Lovely spot in the village. The drive up is nice. Had the chicken sandwich and an iced coffee today – both were fresh and tasted good. Just a solid, simple lunch.

Popped in for an afternoon tea with a big group, last minute. They set us up in the garden, which was nice. The scones were warm, clotted cream was spot on. Everyone seemed happy with it.

Food came out quick, which was nice. The mixed starter and the deep fried sea bass in chili sauce were the highlights - really crispy and packed with flavour. A solid spot for a casual meal.

Love the vibe in this old country pub! It's got that cosy, lived-in feel, but still feels fresh and clean. Perfect for a catch-up with friends – the tables are nicely spaced so you can actually hear each other talk. Always seems to have a good crowd, which adds to the atmosphere.

If you're looking for a lovely dining experience, this restaurant is perfect. The staff, especially Comfort and Sandra, were accommodating and made us feel welcome.

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying half the night. The intimate space just draws you in. Their cocktail list is impressive – the bartender suggested a fantastic negroni that paired beautifully with the relaxed, late-evening mood.

Been coming here for years. Their pizzas are always fresh, you can tell from the thin, crispy base. Toppings are good quality. It's just solid, no fuss. A bit pricier than some places, but you get what you pay for.
