A proper pub with a proper pub feel. The outdoor seating is a lifesaver when it's packed inside, makes it so much more relaxed. We tried the chicken burrito and a couple of the curries, all very tasty. Just a really comfortable spot for a casual meal.

The sugar tofu was really good, especially for a non-meat eater. Decent portion for the price.

The ramen was pretty good, hot and well-seasoned. The chilli squid is definitely the highlight, really crisp and tasty. A solid spot for a quick, decent meal.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The fish and chips were spot on - proper crispy batter and the chips were hot. Bar staff were friendly and quick. A solid choice for a bite.

The sizzler arrived properly sizzling this time, which was a relief. The whole place just feels more relaxed than other spots, you can actually have a conversation without shouting.

The gluten-free scone was a real treat, honestly the best I've come across in a long while. Served warm, just right. Their specialty ones looked lovely too.

Clean toilets, which is always a plus. The free walking trail map was genuinely useful for planning a quick hike after lunch. Saved me having to look it up on my phone. A practical touch for visitors.

A lovely little pub tucked away. I had the Sunday roast, and the lamb shank was so tender. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made for a very relaxed lunch.

Stumbled upon this spot in Sheffield. The boiled fish with pickled cabbage was spot on, just what I was after. The space itself is really nice - high ceilings and big windows make it feel bright and open, even on a grey day.

The food is really good, but it gets so busy. Had to wait ages for our mains after ordering. The parking lot is a bit rough too, stones everywhere.

The vegan danish was spot on. Flaky pastry, not too sweet, with a really nice texture. Plant-based pastries can be hit or miss, but they've got this one right.

The full English breakfast was spot on. The black pudding had that rich, iron-y depth, the bacon was crisp, and the eggs were just runny enough. They kept up with a big table without the food sitting under lamps. Solid.

Drove a fair way for their vegan options. Quick service, perfect for a lunch stop. The curry sauce is fantastic. Had a nice chat with the owner too.

Generous portions here. Couldn't finish my main, the lamb shank was huge. The sharing platter had a bit of everything to start. Good for a hungry group.

I really enjoyed my visit! The staff were attentive, and the food was tasty. The playful cats added to the charm of the place, making it a perfect spot for a fun outing.

Always order the prosciutto and funghi pizza. The base is thin and crisp, toppings are fresh. Their house red is a perfect match for the saltiness of the prosciutto. Makes for a simple, satisfying meal.

Rotisserie chicken is always fresh here. Perfect for a quick lunch. Midweek deals are a bonus. Gets my order right every time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at The Castle. The Signature Burger was absolutely amazing, and the staff, especially V, were knowledgeable and friendly.

The wall of games is a bit overwhelming, honestly. But the staff member who helped us was so patient, pointing out a few simpler ones for our group. Made all the difference.

The burger I had for lunch was stunning, and the atmosphere was very nice. Deb was a real credit to the business, being fun and attentive.

Been for their bottomless brunch a few times. Two hours for the price, which is decent. Cocktails kept coming, good variety. Food's alright, nothing fancy. Does the job for a lazy weekend.

The afternoon tea was lovely, with fresh bread and warm scones. There was plenty to share, making it a great value for two.

Came for a quiet dinner, ended up in a full-on party after 9pm! Music was loud, people started dancing between tables. Not what I expected on a Tuesday, but the energy was infectious. Food was decent, but the vibe totally took over.

Small spot, so definitely book ahead. The owners are so lovely and welcoming, really makes you feel at home. That's the main thing I remember from my first visit.

Even in the rain, this was a great find. The sea bream was the star for me - skin so crisp, flesh just flaky. The mackerel was lovely too. Portions felt generous, left us nicely full. Staff were really sweet about our soggy state!

Akram was so friendly, made me feel totally at ease dining alone. The Spicy King Prawn Madras had a real kick, and the veg karahi was spot on. Perfect for when you need a solo treat!

Been coming here for years. Steve behind the bar is the main reason. Always a friendly face and a good chat.

The marquee for private events is lovely! The buffet had some really nice options, especially the roast beef carving station. Staff kept everything moving smoothly. A solid spot for a celebration.
