Clean spot for a sit-down meal, a nice change from just grabbing takeaway. Conveniently tucked away near the pier, away from the main seafront bustle. The wine list was surprisingly thoughtful for the location – found a decent glass of Pinot Noir that went nicely with the fish.

Been coming here for years. The garlic chilli paneer is always spot on, just the right amount of heat.

Good spot for a game and a pint. The covered outdoor area has plenty of seating, and the weekend crowd is friendly.

The pork belly was cooked just right, crispy skin and tender meat. Burgers are solid too, juicy patties. Prawn tacos at the next table looked amazing, might try those next time. Good spot for a casual bite.

The battered chips are unique and good. Had the pulled chicken with stuffing and gravy as well. Service was efficient. A solid option near the station if you're in the area.

The vibe here just hits right. Pool tables buzzing, good tunes, not too loud. Drinks are decently priced, which is a plus. Just a really nice spot to unwind after work.

Breakfast for four came to under £30, drinks included. Everything was freshly cooked, which was nice.

Staff were super helpful when we turned up with a big group and no booking. They shuffled tables around without any fuss, made us feel welcome straight away. Really appreciated that.

First time here for lunch and I'm already thinking about coming back. The mussels were so fresh, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Staff were really friendly too.

Nice spot by the harbour for a quick bite. Sat outside, decent view of the boats while I ate. Got my lunch sorted fast, which is what I needed. The location's the main draw here.

Friendly service, and the food was tasty. I really liked the veggie and vegan options. But what stood out for me was the atmosphere - it's just a nice, comfortable space to sit and eat.

Love the open kitchen here! It's so cool to watch the chefs work up close. My pasta came out super fast even though the place was packed.

A lovely little gem in Exmouth. The wine list is well-curated, though a bit pricey. Had a fantastic Pinot Noir that paired beautifully with the duck breast. Service was attentive. A great spot for a relaxed dinner with friends.

The fruit crumble with custard was lovely. Such a cozy spot, and I really liked that most things are vegan.

The eggs Benedict were creamy, eggs poached just right. Hash browns were huge and soaked up all the hollandaise nicely. Food came out quick after we got our drinks. Solid breakfast spot.

Been ordering from this place for ages, dine-in and takeout. The menu's got loads of options, and it's always reliable. Never had a bad meal here.

Cosy spot with lovely vintage decor. The cakes change with the seasons, which I really like. Had the lemon drizzle today, it was spot on. A bit pricey for the slice size, but the quality is there.

A lovely spot for breakfast with my sister. The gentleman at the counter was so friendly. My avocado toast was fresh, and the eggs were perfectly done. A nice, simple start to the day.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always helpful, like when we asked for a table away from the draft. Food is solid, especially the lamb. It’s a good spot when you want something a bit nicer.

Brandon was a real pro. He knew the wine list inside out, suggested a fantastic pairing for my steak that I wouldn't have picked myself. Made a simple dinner feel a bit more considered.

A proper local pub, no frills. The beer is kept well, which is the main thing. Had a decent pint of bitter. It’s a friendly spot for a quiet drink.

Stayed one night, the room was modern and cosy. Dinner and breakfast from the pub menu were just what we needed.

Dropped in with the fam. Everyone was happy with their food. The flavours were spot on. Staff were on it, really looked after us. Bright decor shows they care.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The view of the cathedral from the window seats is a real plus. Food was decent, service was prompt. A solid option if you're in the area and want a straightforward meal with a nice backdrop.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The fish finger sandwich was spot on, and the homemade chips were proper crispy. The garlic bread was a whole baguette for a fiver, which is decent.

This is the jewel in the Wetherspoon’s crown. If you don’t know about Wetherspoon’s pubs, restaurants and hotels, they are budget friendly, no frills establishments many in repurposed banks, shops, high street offices etc. This offering in Exeter is a little different though. The setting, in quite extensive well maintained gardens, is a large old house that used to belong in turn to various professional people. The building has been remodelled and added to over the years. The spectacular cast iron orangery where you can dine from breakfast to dinner time was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the Great Western Railways chief engineer in Victorian times. It was originally part of the main building of Exeter university but was moved here many years ago. Food was up to the usual standard at Wetherspoons and served on the distinctive crockery which was specially designed for the company. My youngest daughter and I ate here several times over a three day trip to view the university. We ate both breakfast and dinner here. I thoroughly recommend having at least a drink or preferably something to eat here if you are in Exeter.☕️ A tip is that your tea, coffee or hot chocolate is bottomless and at the time of writing was only 1.81 GBP per cup.

Cozy place, the decor is really nice. We got the sharing platter to start, then the red Thai curry. Curry had a good depth of flavour, not too sweet. Staff were very attentive, made us feel welcome. A solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Been here a few times. They really know how to handle my nut allergy, which is a huge relief. Food came out fast and tasted spot on.

Been coming here for years, always grab a table outside when the sun's out. The pizza's been consistently good, never had a bad one. Their vegan options are a nice touch, keeps everyone happy. Gets busy though, so you gotta time it right.
