There is only one salesperson in this old shop on Xinhua Street. The dim sum can be simple or in boxes. This time I bought the signature sugar-coated steamed buns, milk skin crisps and ox tongue biscuits. Three packs cost a total of 90 yuan. I have to say that I haven't tasted a more generous amount of ingredients than Dashunzhai's sugar-coated steamed buns. The sesame paste and brown sugar are particularly strong, and I definitely recommend it. As a Tongzhou native, Dashunzhai's sugar-coated steamed buns are one of the Tongzhou specialties in my mind, haha.
