The pistachio pesto on the shrimp pasta was so good—really nutty and fresh. Pasta had that perfect al dente bite. Just a bit pricey for the portion, but I'd get it again.

Been coming here for years, always a solid spot. The food's reliable, and Gabriela remembers our usual drink orders. That kind of personal touch with the wine list keeps us coming back. A real neighborhood spot.

Lunch buffet is solid value. Curries taste fresh, and the meat dishes actually have decent portions of meat, not just sauce. Good for a quick business lunch.

A cozy spot for late-night izakaya. The sukiyaki was the highlight, so tender. Just remember to reserve it a day ahead.

Natalie was so on top of things for our big group. She handled the birthday cake and all the drink refills without us even asking. That kind of attention is hard to find.

The seafood chowder was a standout, and their wine list had a great pairing for it. Service was very accommodating with our request.

Ruby runs a tight ship. The Detroit Thor pizza was great, and the meatballs had a nice kick. Their wine list has some solid pairings for the red sauce.

Limited seating but the grab-and-go format works. The food comes out fast, which is all I need for a quick solo lunch downtown.

That chili chicken was so good! Perfectly tender, and that chili oil sauce had just the right kick. My friend and I kept going back for more. It's the kind of dish that makes sharing plates with the group so much fun. A definite must-order for the table.

Adrienn was super helpful and made a custom pasta for the kids. Another server gave us a couple local beers to try when he heard my father-in-law was curious. Really nice touch.

Still my go-to for a quick bite and boba after all these years. The chicken popcorn is just as crispy as I remember, and the tea is never too sweet. Nice to see a place keep things steady.

Great Japanese spot on Robson. They really do focus on quality ingredients - I noticed the OceanWise seafood and the organic brown rice option. My sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully presented. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A solid choice.

Been coming here for years, and the Eggs Benedict is my go-to. That house-made biscuit is the key - it's got that crunch every single time. The hollandaise is just right, never too rich.

Nice spot with a good vibe. The pineapple fried rice is a fun dish. Service was fine, though it can get a bit busy.

The Szechuan beef was actually spicy, not just salty. Portions are decent for the price, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. That's what I look for.

Quick service, even for takeout. I was in and out with my order in no time. The staff were polite and didn't rush me, which I appreciated. It's nice when things just run smoothly.
