The staff were so cheerful and attentive, which made the whole evening really pleasant. Even when it was busy, service was efficient. My only small note is that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a longer meal.

The scones were lovely and fresh, the clotted cream was rich. I did notice the jam was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the overall quality of the ingredients was spot on. A nice, simple treat.

Nice outdoor seating, really relaxed. They had a few gluten-free options which was handy. Prices seemed fair for what you get.

The halloumi wrap is really good, fresh and flavourful. Coffee's a decent size too. It's just a nice, easy spot to be. Service was quick when we needed it.

Lunch stop. The scotch eggs were delicious, a proper treat. Sat outside in the good weather, it was lovely. The cob salad and jacket potato were just right.

Service was quick and friendly even when they were packed. The staff made us feel really welcome, like we were regulars even though it was our first time. A nice touch.

Been coming here for years, and the roast veg with wild garlic dressing is the reason. It's always spot on. That covered outdoor bit is a nice touch too, especially when it drizzles. Just a solid, reliable plate.

As a meat eater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here! The flavours are so delicate and vibrant. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The mushroom bao buns were a real highlight.

Been coming here for years. The owners always remember you, makes it feel like a proper local spot. Nice that they’re dog-friendly too, makes it easy for a casual family stop.

The owner's homemade cakes are a real treat. Tried the ginger cake and carrot cake, both were so flavourful and moist. The cosy little corner with the mismatched chairs is a nice spot to enjoy them.

A nice little spot near the beach. The staff are always so friendly, which makes it a relaxing place to stop. I’ve tried their paninis and the hot chocolate is really good. They were very helpful about my nut allergy, too.

Sunday roast hit the spot. Meat was tender, potatoes crispy, gravy rich. Just what you want on a lazy Sunday. Felt proper.

Stopped in for lunch, and the jacket potato was huge! Really appreciated the portion size for the price. The potato skin was crisp, and the filling was simple but fresh. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too.

The flat white was really good, one of the best I've had. The seating was comfortable too, which made for a relaxing stop.

Decent portion sizes, and the curry sauce was spot on. I paired it with a crisp lager, which worked surprisingly well. Prices are fair. A good, no-fuss lunch.

The Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with the extra noodle layer was spot on. Really took me back to those little street stalls. A bit pricey for what it is, but the flavour was just right.

Loved the lively buzz here on a rainy morning. It's the kind of place that just feels right when the weather's grey. Grabbed a coffee and a pastry, sat by the window watching the world go by. The warmth inside was a lovely contrast to the drizzle outside. ☕️

My friends and I tried the burger here last weekend. Honestly, it's the best one I've had in the Bay Area. The patty was so juicy, and the bun was perfect. We ended up chatting for ages after finishing our food. Just a great spot to catch up.

A proper local's pub. I really appreciate that their classic pub fare feels homemade, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The fish and chips were spot on, the batter was light and the peas tasted garden-fresh. A reliable choice for a simple, satisfying meal.

The cream tea for two was a good deal. It’s quite filling, and the price felt fair for what you get. A solid, cosy spot for a proper sit-down.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Their bread was so good I had to grab a loaf to take home. Nice and relaxed after checking out the hall opposite.

Just a short stroll from the harbour. It was pretty quiet when we dropped by. The dirty fries are the real star here – loaded with all the good stuff, you've gotta try them to see what the fuss is about. So good!

Popped in for a browse, and the mushroom section is incredible. So many fresh local varieties I'd never seen before. Ended up leaving with a little bottle of truffle oil, which was a nice treat.

The fish and chips were spot on. Light, crisp batter and the cod was cooked perfectly.

The scones were lovely and warm, served with really nice jam. Just a really good cream tea.

Great spot for lunch by the sea. The full English breakfast is cooked fresh, which I really appreciate. China plates are a nice touch for a beach cafe.
