Poached eggs with halloumi and sriracha on sourdough was spot on. The eggs were runny, halloumi nicely salty. Coffee was good too. Staff were friendly, made it a nice chill stop.

Lovely little pub just off the main promenade. We stopped in after a long day and the atmosphere was so relaxed. The staff were really welcoming, even to our dog, which made everything feel easy and comfortable.

A very clean place, which is always nice to see. Had a decent coffee with my dessert. The selection of beans was pretty good.

Visited the Salumi restaurant on Sunday the 30th. To celebrate two major events of that date. Firstly my 73rd birthday and my sons 11th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks deceptive regarding its size. Though once inside the welcoming atmosphere and decor were totally delightful. The seating areas were spacious and the seats were very comfortable chairs. All the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and helpful and a credit to their profession. There were good varied choices on the menu. From which I chose the Sunday roast Turkey and Honey with all the trimmings and was totally delicious, and I enjoyed the brilliantly cooked food a lot. The best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was seriously that good. I was very impressed when the ordered food was delivered to our table, and the waiter that served us described every food item being served per plate per individual. NEVER had that done before, and it made one feel special somehow, but nice. It was a really nice additional touch to a perfect meal. The portions were generously large and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable and all 8 of us were well catered. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff at the Salumi. We all enjoyed our meals. I can't praise this restaurant or it's staff high enough. I highly recommend this restaurant ladies and Gents. Well worth a visit. The best was at the end. As being the birthday boy, I was given a FREEBI dish of sorbet ice cream and chocolate cake slice. My wife and I will definately be paying the Salumi restaurant another visit for sure.

Perfect spot for a quiet dinner. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I enjoyed a glass of Rioja with the lamb - a classic pairing that worked beautifully. The atmosphere is cosy, though the tables are a bit close together.

Been coming here for years, and the terrace is still the main draw for me. Grabbed a seabass and a pint last Saturday, same as always. Those heaters and blankets make it feel like a proper cosy spot, even when it's a bit chilly out. Just a solid, reliable place to unwind.

Popped in for a quick pint after a walk. Had the Otter ale, really nice. Food was solid too - steak and ale pie was proper homemade, good portion for the price. Just a decent local spot.

Lunch set menu, three courses for £23.50. Solid deal for the quality. Food came out quick, which is key for a midweek break. Jess was great, very efficient. Got me in and out in under an hour.

The pre-theatre menu was a lovely, fuss-free choice. The hake was delicious and the service was so friendly.

Stumbled upon this spot during a busy lunch hour. The tomato soup was incredible, really hit the spot. Lasagna was top-notch too. Perfect for a quick, satisfying bite.

Great spot by the water, staff were lovely. The fish and chips were solid, crispy batter and fresh fish. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the location. Makes for a decent pit stop if you're catching the ferry.

The staff here are just lovely. They remembered my name after ordering, which was a really nice touch. Felt like I'd been coming here for ages, not just a first visit. Made catching up with my mates feel extra relaxed.

The food here is a nice change - clean and not oily at all. Flavours are well-balanced and lovely. My grilled fish was perfectly cooked, not a hint of greasiness. Portion was decent for the price.

Came for a birthday dinner. The grilled salmon was the highlight – so fresh and flaky, with a lovely herb crust. The seasonal greens on the side were crisp and vibrant. Really appreciated the care with ingredients.

The family-run vibe here is so nice. We got the grilled sardines and the charcoal flavour really came through. It's a cosy spot, felt like a proper neighbourhood find.

Great for families after a game. The kids loved the food, and the staff were really nice. Their house red was a pleasant surprise with the pasta.

The coffee refills are free, which is nice. But honestly, the food tastes like it's cheap. It's just... fine. Not much else to say about it.

The fish and chips were a solid choice. The batter was light and crispy, the cod flaky. Took it down to the quay to eat in the sun, which was just right. A decent lunch spot.
