The menu in English was a lifesaver. The waitress was so sweet, explaining a few dishes when I looked confused. It just made the whole evening feel easy and welcoming.

The gentleman was super friendly. Our food was ready in under five minutes. The burger was juicy, and they had a surprisingly good selection of local craft beers on tap. Picked a nice IPA that went well with it. Quick and tasty spot.

Food was very good but the service was below par. If you don’t want to be open at 1900, don’t let people book a table for 1900. Then led to the only table in direct sunlight (that still wasn’t set despite others being ready) in an otherwise empty restaurant and regularly ignored with the kind of attitude i would have expected 20 years ago. My summer in France has been full of excellent, helpful service. For some reason not here. Food was very good. No bill was offered, just a typed out price on a calculator. Most expensive meal of the trip. SJDL has worse restaurants, but it also has better ones.

The ham croquettes here are a solid choice for a quick lunch. Good portion, came out fast. Perfect when you're in a hurry and just want a decent bite.

A cozy spot right by the historic port. I loved the relaxed, slightly rustic feel inside—the wooden tables and soft lighting made it a nice place to unwind. The grilled sardines and prawns were tasty, though the prawns were a touch overdone.

Came for the daily seabass special. The fish was super tender, skin perfectly crisp. Loved the little herb butter sauce they served it with. Staff were really nice, checked in just the right amount.

Stopped by for lunch. The waitress was really nice, spoke some English and was patient with my order. Food was simple but good. Felt like a proper local spot.

A cozy spot inside the covered market. I came for a late lunch. The salad greens were so fresh and crisp, you could tell they were just prepped. A really peaceful spot to enjoy simple, good ingredients.

Been coming here for years. The ham and cheese platter is always solid, good quality stuff. Croquettes are a must. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry.

Been back a few times, and the baby squid are always spot on. The local white is a nice touch, and the whole vibe is just relaxed. Prices are fair, too.

Just dropped in for a quick bite. The pizza crust was spot on, crispy but not dry. Got more than I expected for the price. Solid lunch.

The daily fish was grilled just right, and the croquettes were the real star. So creamy inside with a crisp crust. A solid lunch spot.

The set menu is a steal at €13. The house wine they paired with it was a surprisingly good match for the main course.

The terrace overlooking Hondarribia harbor is a fantastic spot. Had a sunny lunch there, and the view really made the afternoon. The Txakoli they recommended was crisp and paired perfectly with the grilled fish. A very pleasant spot for a long, lazy meal.

Booked ahead, glad I did. Place was packed with locals grabbing lunch. The daily special was a simple grilled fish, cooked just right, skin crispy. Portion was decent for the price. A solid, no-fuss meal.

The burrata with seasonal fruit was a delight, and the wine pairing suggestion was spot on.

The menu was in French only, but the staff patiently explained every dish. I had the duck confit. The skin was perfectly crisp, the meat fell off the bone. The accompanying lentils had a nice earthy flavor. That's all I really care about.

Perfect for a pit stop on the road to San Sebastián. The chips were so good we were fighting over the last one! 😄
