A proper dog-friendly pub, water bowls everywhere. The staff were lovely with our pup, made us feel right at home. My pint was spot on with the steak pie.

First time here with the family. Dough balls and pizzas were solid, and the vegan cheesecake was a hit. Good beer selection. The live music was a nice touch, though it got a bit loud for conversation later on.

Wednesday pie night is a solid deal. The steak and ale pie was hearty, good portion for the price with a pint. Service was efficient, got me in and out for a quick business dinner.

Lunch here was solid. The burger and chips were tasty and came out looking good. Paired it with a cold beer. The portion size for the price was decent, felt like I got what I paid for.

The beer-battered fish and chips is a must-try. The portion was huge, and those homemade chips were perfect. It's a lovely, cosy spot for a casual meal.

Decent midweek deals, but the real vibe is the weekend DJ. The bass just hits right, not too loud to talk. Quiz nights are fun too, but the weekend energy is my thing.

Lovely spot for a family dinner. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really makes the place feel warm and relaxed. Just a nice, easy vibe.

The new owners have kept the historic charm but the portion sizes are a bit on the small side for the price. My fish and chips was tasty, just not as filling as I'd hoped for a classic pub meal.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. Tried a few tapas, all tasty and came out fast. Nice little spot out back to eat. Good for a speedy bite.

The hot and sour soup is really good. I always end up taking some home for lunch the next day, which is nice. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making the whole meal feel relaxed.

Been coming here for their bottomless brunch for ages. The cocktails are always spot on, never watered down. That’s why I keep coming back.

The decor's cool and the DIY DJ booth is a fun idea. Could use a few more interesting beers on tap though.

The veggie burger was so good! Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends. The patty had a really nice texture, and the bun was soft. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but we'll probably be back.

The burger was cooked just right, and the scampi and chips were tasty. The staff were really welcoming. We'll be back to try more from the menu on future Fridays.

Popped in for a quick glass with friends. The place was absolutely buzzing, which was fun, but we did have to wait a bit for a table. Good energy for a catch-up though! 🍷

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so helpful with my dietary needs. They never make a fuss, just quietly sort it out. Makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

A lovely local pub, always feels welcoming. The staff are friendly and the food is consistently good. The beer garden is a nice spot in summer, though the benches could use a bit more cushioning.

Izzy and Craig were fantastic. They really took the time to go through the allergen list with me, which I appreciated. Made sure my dish was prepared exactly as needed. Friendly and on the ball.

The bottomless brunch was a treat. Our server kept our glasses topped up without us having to ask, which was really nice. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and easy.

The owner's so warm and chatty, it really does feel like a village cafe where everyone knows your name. That kind of welcome is rare. Just a lovely, cozy spot to unwind.

The Sunday roast here is solid - the beef was cooked just right and the Yorkshire puddings were proper. It's the kind of homemade quality you don't mind waiting a bit for. The whole place just feels really cosy, which made for a nice relaxed Sunday afternoon.

Cocktails were solid. The 2-for-1 deal was a nice touch. Got the espresso martini and a classic negroni. Both hit the spot. Would go back just for that.

Nice spot for a casual dinner. The vibe is warm and relaxed, exactly what I wanted after work. The lighting was just right, not too bright. A solid choice when you just want to unwind without any fuss.

Service was attentive. Staff noticed we were celebrating and added a few nice touches to the table without us asking. Made the occasion feel a bit more considered. Efficient and unobtrusive.

Lawrence was a great teacher, really knew his stuff. The space itself was cool, relaxed vibe for learning about their beers.

The staff were so lovely with our little one, really patient and helpful. Made the whole meal a lot more relaxed.

The small plates are a great way to try a few things. The liver and bacon was spot on. Had a really interesting local red that paired beautifully with it. A solid choice for a casual dinner with good drinks.
