Great spot for a catch-up with friends! The decor is super cute and cosy, and it's way bigger inside than you'd think from the street.

Been coming here for years, and the steak pie is always spot on. Good portions, fair price.

Popped in on a Thursday. The live music was a nice touch, just a guy with a guitar. Made the after-work drink feel a bit more relaxed. Service was quick.

Been getting my work dinners from here for ages. The lamb shank tonight was just as good as the first time – tender and falling off the bone. It’s my reliable spot.

Been coming here for years. The food's always spot on - proper pub grub done right. Staff are friendly, place has a nice feel to it. A solid local.

The delivery was spot on, and the food arrived beautifully presented. It felt like a little treat to myself on a random Tuesday night. The pad thai was still piping hot, which was a nice surprise.

The roast beef was spot on, medium-rare as requested. A solid Sunday lunch, though the service was a bit slow between courses.

Grabbed a table on a busy Saturday, no wait! The 2-4-1 cocktails with the student discount were a nice surprise. My espresso martini was actually really good, not too sweet. Lively spot, friendly bar staff.

A handy spot for a bite before a show at Rock City. The staff were really friendly and got us sorted quickly, which was just what we needed. Food was fine, nothing fancy, but it did the job. The booths are comfy, a nice place to sit for a bit without feeling rushed.

The vegan breakfast here is huge! So many different plant-based items on the plate, all cooked fresh. Really kept me going for hours. For the price, you get a lot.

Portions are generous, which I appreciate. The kothu paratha and malabar curry were both really good. Felt like a decent deal for the quality you get.

Decent spot for students. The £5 cocktails and double mixers are a proper bargain. The vibe's a bit loud for a quiet chat, but you can't argue with the prices.

The garlic prawns and beef croquettes were spot on. We ordered a few small plates to share, which worked perfectly with a bottle of their house red. A relaxed way to try different things.

The Christmas set menu is a good deal at £30. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. My only note is that the seating was a bit cramped for a relaxed meal, but the service was very friendly.

Been here for a book club meet-up. It's a proper friendly local pub, good atmosphere. Just a bit loud with the music on, makes chatting a bit tricky. Still, a nice spot.

Popped in for the Sunday quiz night. The questions were a good mix, not too easy or hard. Kept things moving nicely. For the £5 entry, you get a decent few hours of entertainment. Felt like good value for a cheap night out.

Staff are amazing ..very friendly and approachable without encroaching on our personal space . Went through the menu with me as I have a nut allergy.A hidden gem , lots of little private booths as well as a large open area. Outside wet garde which was clean and tidy.Food was excellent with a good variety and reasonably priced.Would definitely eat here again.
