TheForkUserLovely comfortable interior and great staff make this a very welcome change from eateries with flapping plastic walls
TheForkUserThis is our second time at Daria - last time, although the food was delicious we over ordered and couldn’t eat anything. This time, the very helpful staff advised us on how much to order and even gave us half portions of a couple of things which was great. The food is rich, full of taste and we loved it.
TheForkUserExceptional food and wine (they also have a good beer selection). Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely go back! Elegant and spacious dining room.
TheForkUserWe really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The ambience in the historic building was great and was surpassed by the delicious food. The variety and sophistication of the dishes left nothing to be desired. We particularly liked the innovative combinations of fish, fruit and herbs. The restaurant crew were extremely attentive and caring. And luckily for us, they were also able to give us all the good tips and recommendations in English. Not a matter of course in this holiday region, as we found out several times. We can highly recommend the restaurant and would go there again at any time.
TheForkUserSimply perfect for us. A quiet little hidden place with great A+quality food and kind service! Highly recommended. There are only six tables inside so the attention is a 10
TheForkUserGood food. slightly on the expensive side for the size of the portions. We had the rice menu. The guy (guessing the owner) wasn’t very welcoming. Seemed like he was annoyed that we arrived early and then annoyed at another couple that they arrived late. The female server was great and charming
TheForkUserOur first visit to celebrate my birthday while visiting Santander, was highly recommended on the 'Fork' and could see why , excellent service and explanation of the menu .Food well prepared and presented.
TheForkUserThe food was exceptional. Starters of scallops and a fish / potato mash in a scallop shell were large and very tasty, main course of roast suckling kid was very special. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (one waitress did have a problem managing a smile, but that made us try all the more to make her!). Atmosphere was very good, and all reasonably priced especially to eat in such a lovely building.
TheForkUserInteresting experience, lovely ambience, good food.
TheForkUserWe had an excellent service throughout from Luciano who helped us plan a 60th birthday celebration and prepared a set menu for 17 people which was delicious :) we would definitely dine here next time we are in Santander and many thanks to all the staff 😊
TheForkUserIt was sublime. We had the 7 course tasting menu and it was interesting and varied. Perfect food and service, gorgeous view. Amazing wines. Just out of this world.
_TI***p2The service here is exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The entrecote I ordered was cooked to perfection, and the overall dining experience was delightful.
_TI***ddThe food is excellent, with a wonderful tasting menu that showcases amazing flavors. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
TheForkUserI am gluten intolerant and they really understood and had good substitutions. Excellent fish options. Great service without being 'over the top'.
TheForkUserGreat staff and ambience. The food was very tasty and fresh. I totally recommend it for someone searching for good and fresh sea food. Will be returning on my next opportunity.
TheForkUserGreat place, great views, great food and great service. Could not ask for more.
TheForkUserSimply excellent - great food from Cantabria, well-timed and well-spirited service. The experience was, again, very good and it is impressive how the Chef manages to create this surprising, yet extremely well tasting creations! Certainly a Chef that is aiming for more (stars) and that would be, given it all, well deserved. This was the second and not the last time in this restaurant.
TheForkUserThis place impossible to reach . We used the Waze, best GPS in the world. The road to restaurant is atrocious even for local guy who at one point did not recommend us to go further.
TheForkUserIt has been a grate surprise. We went there as a “last resource” and it was a very good choice. Daily “Menú” on Saturday for 15€ including drink and dessert? The ribs where delicious and “cachiporra” too
TheForkUserThe restaurant is very central, in an area full of bars and cafes. We felt welcomed on arrival and menus were available in English, French and German as well as Spanish. The food was delicious. I had the kofta tagine and the combination of flavours was outstanding.
_TI***k4The seabream was exceptional and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for its great attention to detail.
TheForkUserBest place in the area. Best value for money. Great aged beef. Superb tomatoes. We were hosted by a perfect English speaking staff member with excellent help and service. Very good yet affordable wines as presented in a full way by the sommelier. Michelin feel wine wise but very casual for the rest and that’s a good thing. Highly recommended.
