Been back a few times for lunch and pre-theatre. The food always tastes fresh, like it's just come off the stove. Staff are friendly, no complaints there. Good spot for a reliable, straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years. The lamb curry is always piping hot and full of flavour. Staff know the regulars. It's our go-to for a reliable, no-fuss meal.

Service is solid here. Staff are friendly and attentive, they handled our large group booking without any fuss. Good to see a place that gets the basics right.

Staff were really helpful with my colleague's diabetic needs, which was appreciated. The place was quiet when we arrived but got a nice buzz later on. Felt relaxed the whole time.

Spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room between tables. I liked that. It does get quite loud when it's busy, though. Still, a nice spot for a relaxed meal.

Flat white was spot on, better than most places I've tried. The milkshake was thick and creamy too. Just popped in for a quick one, left pretty satisfied.

The lamb curry was perfectly spiced, and the naan was fresh out of the tandoor. What really made it for me was the house lager they suggested—it cut through the richness beautifully. A really satisfying meal.

Been coming here for years. Their gluten-free fish and chips is the same price as the regular, which is decent. The batter's always nice and crispy, holds up well. Good to have a proper option nearby.

The Tuesday special is a solid deal. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the red wine jus had a good depth of flavour. It’s BYOB, so we brought a decent Malbec that paired nicely. Portions are generous for the price.

Stumbled upon this place by chance. The vibe is really cosy, and the food looked great on the plate. Flavours were spot on. Service was nice, too. Just a nice, relaxed spot for a bite.

Love the beer garden here, it's a proper little suntrap. The ales are pulled straight from the barrel, which is nice. Indoor bit is cosy but can get a bit cramped.

The staff were really helpful with my nut allergy, talked me through the menu. They suggested a nice glass of red that went perfectly with the steak. Just a note, they don't take card tips, so have some cash handy.

The wine list is short but solid. Had a decent Malbec with the steak, it paired well. Good selection for the price point, covers the basics without being overwhelming.

Decent takeaway from Shapla. The food was fresh and arrived quickly. Flavours were pretty good, and the price felt fair.
