Been coming here for years, and the minestrone soup is always spot on. £1.95 gets you the whole pot with a warm roll and butter. It's that kind of simple, consistent thing that keeps me coming back.

Came for the cheesy chips everyone talks about. They're good, but honestly, a bit steep for what you get. Portion was decent, but for nearly £8, I expected a bit more. The staff were lovely though.

The hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow was really nice. My friend's butterscotch & hazelnut one was good too.

Been a regular for ages, and the salt and pepper chicken and chips is still my go-to lunch. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to unwind for a bit.
