The seafood and risotto are so good. Perfect for sharing with friends, we were all fighting over the last bite!

Had a nice dinner with friends. The food was pretty good, especially the pasta. Service was friendly, though a bit slow at times.

The Sunday all-you-can-eat is a good deal. The Pad Thai was spot on, noodles had that nice chew. Massaman curry was rich, the beef tender. You can tell the dishes are made fresh.

Popped in on a drizzly afternoon. The place is cosy, good for that kind of weather. Coffee was spot on – really well roasted and brewed. Just what you want when it's grey outside.

Great spot to catch the game with plenty of screens. Atmosphere was solid. Paul at the bar is a good lad, pours a decent pint. Service is quick, which is key when you're in and out.

The black pudding scotch egg is the reason I come here. The sausage casing is crisp, the pudding inside is rich and peppery, and the yolk is still just a bit runny. It’s a proper pub snack done right.

The curry here is the real deal. Rich, complex spice blend, not just heat. Had the lamb version, meat was fall-apart tender. They'll even tweak it if you ask, which is a nice touch.

They remembered it was our anniversary and added a little something to the dessert. Nice touch, made the evening feel a bit more personal.

Late afternoon visit. Staff were very accommodating, found us a table quickly. Hot drinks and mince pies were just what we needed. Good spot to wind down.

The meatballs were so tender and flavourful. I really appreciated the quality of the ingredients, you could tell the meat was fresh and well-seasoned. A very satisfying dish.

Been a regular here for a while now. The staff are always so friendly, even when it's packed. The owner takes the time to chat, which is a nice touch. Just a comfortable spot.

Been coming here for years. The chicken curry's still good, generous portion as always. Ordered takeaway last night, ready in 10 minutes. Reliable spot.

Staff are nice, Bryony in particular looked after us well. Food took a bit longer than usual, but she kept checking in. Decent spot for a relaxed meal.

Parking at the back was a lifesaver, honestly. Just a heads up though, finding the entrance in the dark was a bit of a mission – drove past it twice! The lot itself was great once we found it.

The champagne chicken was the standout. Tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce had a nice balance. Service was efficient, which I appreciate during a business lunch. Solid choice for the area.

Nice spot for a casual business lunch. The relaxed vibe means you can actually talk without shouting. Food was solid, service was prompt. Good for a straightforward meal when you're in the area.

The atmosphere at Another Hand is warm and inviting, making it perfect for special occasions. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

The langoustine and miso custard on the tasting menu were just brilliant. The textures were spot on, and the flavours really built on each other. A couple of the later courses didn't quite hit the same high note for me, but that custard alone was worth the trip.

Staff are super helpful with dietary needs! They pointed out all the gluten-free options for our table, made it easy for everyone to choose.

A solid first stop for Japanese food. The menu had a few nice surprises – tried a grilled mackerel dish I hadn't seen before, and it was spot on. Staff were really friendly, which helped.

Ordered online, easy. The KBBQ was solid, but the real star was the soju selection. Perfect with the grilled meats. Service was quick, maybe a bit too quick at times. Still, a go-to for me.

The falafel was spot on, really good texture and flavour. Salad box was huge for the price. Just walked in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised.

The staff were so lovely and attentive. They really took the time to explain the menu and their suggestions were perfect for what I was looking for. Felt very well looked after.

Mussels were the standout, really fresh and plump. The rest of the food was tasty too, but those mussels are what I'll remember. Portion was decent for the price.

Lively spot, perfect for a post-pub meal. We grabbed a table by the window and the energy was just right. Food was solid—the fish and chips were crispy, not greasy. Service was a bit slow, but they were clearly busy. Would come back for the vibe alone.

Cosy little spot, feels like you're in someone's living room. Great for a quiet night out. Their wine list is small but thoughtful - the Pinot Noir they suggested went really well with the lamb.

The grilled fish was the star. Skin crisp, flesh flaky and moist. Seasoning just right, not overpowering the fish. That's what I came for.

The Indian-inspired twists on the classics were a nice surprise. The flavours were pretty good, though the portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side. Still, a decent meal.

I’ve been eating at Toby Horsforth for years and have never had a problem with any of the carvery meals there. The staff have always been professional so I can’t knock anything at all.
