The BBQ duck was tender, almost falling off the bone. Juicy, not dry at all. The wontons were good too, tried them in the clear soup and with a side of their spicy sauce. The sauce had a nice kick.

The Denver breakfast special was solid. The tortilla omelet is huge and packs a garlic punch. Everything is made from scratch, so there's a wait – ours was about 25 minutes. The potato salad that came with it was the standout.

Found this place while wandering downtown. The old building is cool. Had the spicy wonton soup. Really hit the spot on a cold day. Broth was deep, wontons were plump. Just what I needed.

Love that they grill the fish instead of frying it. Perfect for a quick, healthier lunch. Got my plate in under 5 minutes. Just what I needed.

Love that they do dim sum at night! The shrimp dumplings were fresh and the vibe is perfect for catching up with friends. Service was quick, too. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the convenience.

Great for a big group dinner in Chinatown! We had a table of 8 and it was perfect. The vibe is always loud and fun, which is what you want when catching up with friends. The space is huge so you don't feel cramped at all. Classic spot!

The sharing platter for two was generous, we barely finished it. The staff were friendly and made the evening enjoyable. I appreciated the wine list—found a nice bottle that went well with the grilled meats.

A nice find in Victoria's Chinatown. The wonton soup was really good, and the portions on the combo platter are generous. Our server James was so welcoming, which made the whole meal feel easy and relaxed.

The charcuterie board I ordered as a gift was a hit. Presentation was beautiful and the quality of the meats and cheeses was spot on. Ready right on time, too.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, and I love that they sell day-old bread at half price. Picked up a loaf yesterday - still perfectly good. It's a nice little spot in the neighbourhood.

The apricot galette was a highlight, with the fruit tasting so fresh and vibrant. A nice treat for a mindful indulgence.

Been coming here for years. They always have gluten-free macarons, which is a lifesaver for my daughter.

Solid lunch spot. The bento box is a great deal for a quick bite. Everything's neat, and the fried pieces are just the right size to eat fast. Perfect for a 30-minute lunch break.

Good selection of vegan dishes. Server was attentive and double-checked ingredients for me. Appreciated the effort to confirm everything was plant-based.

The pickled vegetables were a nice little bite, crunchy and tangy. They cut right through the richness of my noodle soup. The dry cured beef was good too, a nice salty contrast. Just a couple of thoughtful touches that made the whole bowl feel more complete.

Solid vegan spot. Quick service and they handle special requests well. Food's tasty without being oily.

Came for the blueberry pancakes. You can really taste the freshness of the berries, and the batter wasn't overly sweet. The place gets packed, so getting there early is key. A nice, simple breakfast.

The sandwiches here are pretty good, some of the best I've had in town. The staff seems genuinely happy to be there, which is nice. My only minor gripe is that the place can get a bit loud when it's busy.

Been coming here for years, and their steak sauce over rice never disappoints. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Whopper Wednesday is a solid deal. Got the classic burger, it was pretty good. Service was a bit slow near closing with just two people working, but the price is decent.

Parking out back is a huge plus. The place is tucked away in an old house, so it can be tricky to spot at first.

Shrimp ramen was really good. The server was so patient when I was a bit lost with the menu. The broth had a nice depth that went well with a crisp lager.

Breakfast on the go was a win. The house granola had a nice crunch and was surprisingly filling. Also grabbed the waffles with poached pears and bacon – the sweet and salty combo worked well. Staff kept things moving. Need to go back and work my way through that drink menu.

My Korean friend said this place felt like home. The kimchi jjigae was exactly like her mom's. We'll definitely be back for more of that cozy, familiar taste.

Solid sushi at a decent price. Got the Esquimalt roll with seared fish on top, and it was a nice pick. The agedashi tofu starter was great too. Service was polite and friendly. They seated us quickly on a Sunday evening, which was a plus.

The brunch board was a great choice for two. Plenty of food, and everything was fresh. The grilled cheese sandwich was the highlight for me. The seating was a bit tight, but the overall vibe was relaxed.

FARO offers a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for a cozy dinner. The dimly lit setting is ideal for couples, while the main area is great for families.

Found this spot on the second floor of the plaza. The owner was so nice and clearly loves what he does. I tried the daily special pasta – the sauce was rich and had this slow-cooked depth you don't find everywhere. A real find.
