Service was efficient for our large group. Staff handled everything smoothly.

Booked ahead and glad we did, it's a small spot in an old house. Felt cozy and relaxed, not like a typical downtown place. The pasta was solid, nothing crazy but hit the spot.

The pork schnitzel was really good, perfectly crispy. The portion is huge, almost comically big for one person. I ended up taking half of it home.

The seafood was so fresh, it practically melted. Really appreciate the focus on quality ingredients here.

The service here is a real standout. Jack, Taylor, Molly, and Ashley were all fantastic—attentive without being overbearing. They had great suggestions for wine pairings with our courses, which made the evening flow so well. A genuinely pleasant team.

The brunch board was a great choice for two. Plenty of food, and everything was fresh. The grilled cheese sandwich was the highlight for me. The seating was a bit tight, but the overall vibe was relaxed.

The strawberry sumac mimosa was a fun find. It was a nice, refreshing change from the usual. The cloud potatoes were a total surprise too, so light and crispy. I'd come back just for those.

FARO offers a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for a cozy dinner. The dimly lit setting is ideal for couples, while the main area is great for families.

Found this spot on the second floor of the plaza. The owner was so nice and clearly loves what he does. I tried the daily special pasta – the sauce was rich and had this slow-cooked depth you don't find everywhere. A real find.

Grabbed lunch here downtown, super convenient. Even for takeout, the quality is noticeably better than other spots in the area. The fresh, satisfying bowl I got was just what I needed.

Nice little spot on the way to the Sooke campgrounds. I really liked the relaxed vibe here, it was just a comfortable place to sit and eat. The food was good and the prices were fair.

The red chicken curry with medium heat is just right. It's got that nice balance of coconut milk and spice. The portion is big, definitely enough for two. The chicken pieces are tender.

Prawn tacos were solid. Chicken enchilada portion was huge, couldn't finish it. Perfect for a quick bite when you're down by the wharf. Got my food in under 10 minutes.

Decent spot, especially if you're catching the ferry. The free parking is a big plus. Food was pretty good, though the service felt a bit slow that evening.

Came here with a few friends and ended up staying for hours. The pretzel was so good we ordered a second one. Just the right vibe for a long catch-up sesh.

Large portions for the price. The chow mein is packed with meat and veggies.

Lovely spot right on the harbor after a long walk. The view is the main event. Had a decent glass of Sauvignon Blanc with the fish tacos, which were fine. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for that patio.

The home-style pork belly stew was spot on, tender and rich. Service was quick and friendly. A solid, no-fuss meal that didn't break the bank.

The BBQ chicken pizza was a real treat. The crust is thin and crispy, which I love. You can tell the chicken is fresh and not overly processed. A great option for a healthier pizza craving.

Had the chicken cordon bleu on the patio here. The chicken was really fresh and juicy, and you could tell the ham was good quality. A solid, simple dish. The side salad was crisp, which I always appreciate. A nice spot for a straightforward meal.

The view is absolutely stunning. We came for the nettle soup, which is only on the spring menu. It was really good, a nice earthy flavor. The staff were friendly and the whole place just felt relaxed. A solid spot for a quiet dinner.

Had a decent lunch here. The samosas were pretty good, and I enjoyed the lentil soup. The owner was friendly when he came by our table. A nice, low-key spot for a casual meal.

The vermicelli bowl was huge, I couldn't finish it. The staff were really nice about packing it up for me. Very comfortable spot to have a quiet meal.

Been ordering takeout from here for years. Portions are always big, especially for the price. Food's still warm when it gets to my door, never cold or soggy. Can't ask for more than that.
