Came for breakfast, the food was fresh and tasty. Love the view from the window seat, very cozy spot. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it. Nice way to start the day.

I loved the Wee taste of Scotland taster menu! It exceeded my expectations and introduced me to new flavors. The staff made our celebration special, and I can't wait to return for another amazing meal.

The tortilla and boquerones were spot on. My only quibble is the wine list, a bit limited for a tapas place. The Rioja I had was fine, but I'd love more options by the glass to pair with different dishes.

The server noticed my dish wasn't quite right and swapped it out so quickly, with a genuine smile. That kind of care really stood out.

Cannonball is a fantastic restaurant with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The haggis balls and venison are must-tries!

The owner was so nice, he even made my dish extra spicy when I asked. Really appreciated that.

The Neapolitan pizza was spot on. What really stood out for me was the freshness of the ingredients. The tomato sauce tasted so bright and vibrant, you could tell it was made with really ripe tomatoes. The dough had a lovely, airy chew to it. Just a really clean, simple meal.

Lovely little spot. The menu changes every few weeks, so there's always something new to try. Had a really nice sea bass dish last time, perfectly cooked. Keeps me coming back!

Austin and Miguel gave solid wine and food tips. Made the evening easy.

The Croque Madame was spot on, and the staff kept their cool (and good humour) during our big group breakfast. A nice glass of crisp white would have been the perfect pairing.

Nice spot for a quick bite. The modern, relaxed vibe is spot on. Had a simple breakfast there, and it was exactly what I needed. Service was quick, which is key for me.

A lovely spot for brunch. I really appreciated the gluten-free options. The poached eggs three ways were fresh and well-prepared, the eggs tasted like they were from a good source. The coffee was a highlight, robust and smooth. Staff were friendly and genuine.

Stumbled in for a quick bite. The birria and carne asada tacos were legit. Fresh corn tortillas made all the difference. Felt like a proper taste of Mexico right here in Edinburgh.

The pork ragu was fantastic, but the real draw is the daily changing menu. Keeps things interesting.

I had an incredible experience at Heron! The attention to detail in both the food and service is remarkable. Every course was a highlight, and I can't wait to return for another tasting menu.

The staff really know their wines. They suggested a red to go with the steak and it was spot on. Food was good too, flavours worked well together. A solid local spot.

A handy find right by our hotel. The walk to Princess Street was actually quite nice, not too far at all. Made popping out for a bite super easy.

Tried the tamarind and coconut ribs on my first visit. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the sauce had a nice balance of sweet and tangy. The coconut flavour was subtle but came through. A solid dish.

Nice spot for a relaxed meal. The modern design is pleasant, and the big glass front gives a decent view of the river. Food was pretty good, though the service was a little slow at times.

A decent spot for wings. The Korean BBQ ones were pretty good, mango habanero had a nice kick. A solid choice if you're in the area and fancy that sort of thing. The place was a bit loud, but it's fine for a casual meal.

Delicious food. Perfect service - love it when the order is repeated back. Excellent atmosphere. Comfy chairs. Looking forward to coming again!

The Mediterranean platter was solid, good flavours. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Service was prompt, which I appreciate for a business lunch. A bit on the pricier side, but the location is convenient.

Decent meal deal for a quick dinner. The set menu was well-priced, portions were fine. Service was efficient. Nothing fancy, but it does the job for the price.

I celebrated a special occasion here, and the food was fantastic! The tapas were some of the best I've had, and the service was exceptional, even bringing a complimentary cake for my daughter.

Been coming here for years, and what keeps me coming back is that unique French-Scottish vibe. It’s just consistent. The team really knows their stuff when it comes to the menu, you can tell they care.

Came here on a friend's tip. The space is really lovely—warm lighting, those comfy velvet chairs, and lots of greenery. It just felt like a nice place to unwind. Our server, Joy, was super friendly and on top of things even though it was packed.

Had the lunch special. Portion was decent for the price, and it's halal which is a plus. The place was spotless, staff were nice. Not bad for a quick bite.

The vegan char siu had a really good texture, almost like the real thing. The 'duck' was also surprisingly flavourful, not bland at all. You can tell they put effort into getting the seasoning right.

The seafood specials were decent, but the portion sizes could be a bit more generous for the price.

Stopped by for dinner. The staff were really nice, especially Jaydleen and Muneeb. They checked on us a few times without being over the top. Made the whole thing feel pretty relaxed.
