The French toast was so good! Simple, but juicy and just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of dish you want to order again with friends. The vibe here is really relaxed, perfect for a long chat over brunch.

The sharing platter was a great way to try a few things. I really noticed the freshness of the vegetables in the black bean chicken—still had a nice crunch. The crispy beef was tasty, though a little heavier than I usually go for. A solid spot for a relaxed meal.

The staff here are always so lovely and attentive. They really make you feel welcome, and the service is quick without ever feeling rushed. It’s a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

The off-menu paratas were a nice surprise. The kitchen did a good job with them, and the staff were genuinely pleased to serve them. A solid choice if you're looking for something different.

Stopped in for brunch. The eggs Benedict was pretty good, and the mushroom hash was a decent portion. Service was friendly, though it got a bit slow as the place filled up.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe is always spot on. The setting just hits different.

Nice spot for a relaxed lunch. The menu had plenty of options, and my food arrived quickly. The booth seating was really comfortable, which made the whole experience very pleasant.

Ordered the chicken tikka masala for pickup. Still steaming when I got home. Phone guy was patient with my questions. Solid takeaway spot.

The old church setting is stunning, especially the high ceilings and the organ. Makes for a pretty special meal.

Food was really tasty, especially the lamb biryani. Staff were friendly and it's halal, which is great. A bit on the pricier side, but I'll be back.

Mezemeze....the friendly restaurant with a friendly and professional team. The food was excellent..5 Stars. Many thanks for one of the best lunch in Edinburgh Town.

Been a few years. Place got a nice refresh inside. Lamb chops and tikka platter starter were solid, naan was good too. Quick lunch sorted.

The chateaubriand here was cooked just right. It was so tender, honestly one of the best I've had. A really nice surprise for a first visit.

Our server Paul was great. Really knew the menu, suggested the pork belly and it was spot on. Made the whole thing easy.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always remember my name. Makes it feel like a proper local spot, even though it's right in the centre. They're just genuinely nice people.

Lunch for one: the mini haddock and chips were spot on, really fresh. The mushy peas were a nice touch.

The takeaway arrived in a reusable bag, which was thoughtful. The food was good, but I wish they had some wine pairing suggestions on the menu.

Christmas lunch for four. Food was tasty, cooked just right. Staff were quick and friendly. Santa popped in, nice festive touch. Good for a holiday meal.

Lovely spot for a quiet meal, the views are stunning. Ordered the seafood pasta. Portion was generous, easily enough for two. Felt like good value for the price.

The sticky toffee pudding was good, but the tablet ice cream was the real star. So creamy, and those little crunchy bits of tablet were just perfect. Could have eaten another scoop!

Been coming here for years. Their duck breast is always spot on, cooked just right. Honestly, it's one of the best things I've eaten in ages. The rest of the menu is heavy on seafood, which is fine.

The bill was a nice surprise. Two of us had three courses and a couple of drinks, and it was still under £70. Felt like a fair deal for what we got.

Had to come back after 30 mins due to the queue. Worth the wait. Service was prompt once seated. The celeriac soup special was very good, just needed a bit more seasoning for my taste. The trip here was over an hour each way, but it delivered.

The sushi was spot on. Loved the salmon avocado roll - plenty of fish, not too much rice. Everything tasted super fresh. Service was quick, no waiting around. A solid spot for a casual bite.
