Lovely afternoon tea. The staff were really friendly and made sure to check about my allergy. A very comfortable experience.

Been coming here for years, and the sausage special never disappoints. It's always cooked just right, and the portion feels generous for the price. That's why I keep coming back.

Stopped in for lunch. The place was quiet, not too crowded. Could actually hear my friend talk without shouting. That's rare these days. Food was decent, nothing crazy. But the calm vibe was exactly what I needed.

The team here are just so lovely. They remembered my name from a previous visit and were super attentive without being overbearing. It really makes a difference.

Popped in for a quick bite. French onion soup and coronation chicken panini were spot on. Vegan cheesecake was a nice surprise, definitely getting that again. Nice and quiet in there, no loud music. Perfect for a speedy lunch.

First time getting takeaway from here and it was a hit for our girls' night in. The dips and salads were so fresh, and the mains were spot on. Perfect for sharing and catching up over good food.

The lamb three ways was delicious, and the wine list had some really interesting pairings for it. Staff were lovely.

Loved the upstairs area, so quiet and tucked away. Perfect for reading with a coffee. The menu is huge, almost too many choices! Had a nice flat white and just watched the rain.

Brought my dog for a Sunday lunch. Quick service, which was great. The food was solid, good value. Waitress Susie was really on it. Perfect for a quick bite with the pup.

Menu clearly marks vegan options, which is a huge help. Their vegan Caesar salad is actually really good - not just a token offering. Tried it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised.

A solid spot for Indian food. The butter chicken had a decent flavour, the gravy was quite nice. Naan was fresh and soft. A bit on the pricier side, but a fine meal overall.

The veggie breakfast was spot on, and the service was genuinely warm. They even suggested a nice local ale that went perfectly with the hearty food.

The baklava was the highlight. So much honey, just the right sweetness. A bit pricey for the portion size, but it did finish the meal on a high note.

The seafood boil is a fun, hands-on meal. They provide gloves and a bucket for shells, which makes the whole messy process much easier.

Owner was really nice, friendly without being over the top. Just the right amount of attention.

Found this little spot by chance. Their pasta is always spot on, honestly. A bit pricey for a regular thing, but I keep coming back for it on weekends.

Mhairi was a great server. She knew the wine list inside out, suggested a lovely red that went perfectly with my steak. Made the whole evening really smooth.

I'm Turkish, and the sutlac here... it's the real deal. Tasted exactly like my grandmother makes it back home. That alone made the whole visit worth it. A proper little taste of Turkey in Edinburgh.

The team here are lovely, really warm and attentive. It's perfect for a quick, easy dinner if you're at the Premier Inn next door. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot after a long day.
