Been coming here for years. Portions are still generous, prices fair. Had the steak last night, cooked fresh and tasty as always. Solid spot.

Decent breakfast spot. The pancake stack with bacon was huge and the avocado on sourdough hit the spot.

Turkish eggs were tasty, the ginger tea was lovely. But the tables are a bit too close together, felt like I was sharing my neighbour's conversation.

Loved the spicy chicken wrap, the seasoning was spot on. The oat milk chai latte was a nice, creamy pairing. Simple, cozy space to enjoy it in. A solid lunch spot.

Loved the little garden out back! It was perfect for catching up with friends over coffee. So much nicer than being inside on a sunny day. The space is small but really cosy.

Poshrooms for brunch were solid. The caramel cappuccino was good, and I grabbed a brownie to go. My husband's curry and the onion bhaji were a hit – not deep-fried, which was a nice touch. Service was efficient, got us in and out quickly.

The staff here are genuinely lovely. They're so warm and friendly, it makes the whole place feel really comfortable. Even when it's packed, they're on it.

Been coming here for years, and the homemade cakes are always spot on. Love the little side salad they serve with them - a nice touch. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back.

A proper old-school tea room. The egg and cress sandwich was spot on - fresh bread, filling just right. Scones were warm, clotted cream generous. It's the sort of place you'd take your mum. A bit quiet on a Tuesday afternoon, but that was nice.

The homemade ice cream is great, loads of flavours. Watched them make my sundae right at the counter. It's a bit pricey for the portion, but tasted good.

The ploughman's was pretty good, nice ham and decent cheddar. The tea rooms have a lovely, quiet atmosphere. Menu has a lot of choice, which is nice.

The coffee is really good here. Staff are friendly and efficient, which is nice for a quick stop. The breakfast sandwich I had was solid, though the bread could have been a bit warmer. A reliable spot for a casual bite.

Lovely quiet spot. Perfect for a relaxed breakfast when you're near the uni. Just sat with my coffee, watching the light through the window. So peaceful.

Shakshuka was spot on. Feta jacket potato too. Portions are generous, didn't leave hungry. Staff were pleasant. Solid brunch spot.

A proper no-fuss spot. Had the full breakfast, quick and hot. Coffee's decent. Service is efficient, just how I like it for a quick bite. Cash only though, so come prepared. Does the job.

Fresh sandwiches, loads of filling options. The bread is really good. Staff were quick and friendly, made ordering easy. Solid lunch spot.

Lovely chilled vibe, just right for a lazy brunch. Sat outside, but the indoor area looked nice and cool with the AC. The avocado toast was spot on, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. ☕️

Love that they have so many gluten-free choices. The owner came over to check on us and seemed really clued up about allergies. Nice, relaxed vibe for a neighbourhood place.

The staff were really friendly! Food came out super fast and piping hot, which I always appreciate. The place was spotless too, you can tell they care about that. A solid spot for a quick, reliable bite.

Been coming here for years. The new decor is a nice change, but the local gin selection is still the main reason I keep coming back.

A very clean spot. The servers were so friendly. My milkshake was the standout - you could tell it was made with fresh, real ingredients. The rest of the food was nice and came quickly. A good, simple option for a light bite.

Nice old-school spot. The full English was spot on, and the tea served in a proper china pot made it feel like a proper breakfast.

Had the vegetarian lunch special. The chickpea salad was fresh, the bread still warm. Could have used a bit more seasoning, but the cake selection looked fantastic. Will try one next time.

Loved the Pash 'N Shoot smoothie, so fresh. The place itself is really cute inside. Staff were lovely. My only note is that the drink menu felt a bit limited for a cafe this nice – a solid house cocktail or a suggested wine pairing would have been a nice touch.
