Popped in for a late lunch just before they closed. The steak frites were spot on, and the staff were really chill about us lingering. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the beef – a solid, unpretentious choice.

Our team lunch here went smoothly. They were well-prepared for gluten and dairy free requests, offering clear menu alternatives without any fuss. Made the booking process straightforward.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Richard, the manager, was really helpful and kind during a tough time for us. Made a difference.

Love that they're so dog-friendly! We stopped by after a long walk with my pup. They had water bowls ready and even gave him a little treat. Made it a really nice, relaxed spot for a quick coffee with a friend. The staff were lovely about it too.

Such a cute pub! The beer garden is lovely, perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends by the stream. Staff were really nice and let us park our van overnight, which was a lifesaver. Drinks selection is solid too.

The Sunday roast was lovely, especially the brisket. The beef was tender and tasted so fresh. Our waitress Gabby was really nice. A nice spot for a relaxed meal.

The Rockefeller burger was cooked well, juicy patty and the bun held up. Chips were decent. Solid choice for a quick business lunch.

Nice spot for a quiet meal. Had the steak and ale pie - proper, flaky pastry and the beef was really tender. A solid pub meal. Could have been a bit hotter when it arrived, but no big deal.

Stopped here to kill time and the lunch set was a total steal! The carbonara was so good, and my friend talked me into the banoffee pie - worth every calorie. Loved the old-school Italian feel and watching the boats. Just a really nice spot for a catch-up.

The Sunday roast deal is a steal at £10. The beef was really tender, and the chicken portion was huge. Everything came out super quick, which was nice. The place itself is quite cosy, with these big wooden tables that make it feel really relaxed.

Sunday carvery. Good roast for the price. The guy at the counter is always friendly, works hard.

Been coming here for years, and their Sunday roast is always spot on. The chicken and beef are consistently hot, and the veg selection is generous. It's just a reliable, solid meal every time.

Came for a quick lunch, got the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. The chips were proper thick cut. Felt like decent value for what you get.

Been coming here for ages, they remember my usual order without me even asking. That kind of personal touch is really nice. Makes you feel looked after, you know?

The staff were really friendly. Food came out fast and portions were generous. The house red was a pleasant surprise, went nicely with the roast.

The set menu is a solid choice. You get a starter, main, and dessert for £35. Portions are decent, not huge, but you definitely leave satisfied. The fish course was particularly good. Good value for a proper meal out.

The staff were so kind when they were out of the quinoa salad. They offered a lovely lentil dish instead and gave me a larger portion. Really appreciated that.

Had our wedding party here and the team was brilliant. Natalie in particular was on top of everything, from the little details to the big moments. They really made the day run smoothly.

The chicken biryani and rolls were perfect for our girls' night in! The guy at the counter was super friendly too.

A decent spot for a drink. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. It's nice that they allow dogs, though the garden area could do with a bit of a tidy.

The oxtail was tasty and the chips were great, but I was really impressed by how fresh the vegetables tasted. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

Quiz night was packed, decent vibe. Becky and Lilly were on it, really attentive with the drinks. My burger was solid, but the chips could've been crispier. Good spot for a casual pint and a bite.

Been coming here for years. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back - the food's always solid, exactly what you expect. That family-run warmth is genuine, doesn't feel forced. A proper local spot you can count on.
