Service was very good, staff were very friendly and attentive - but not at all intrusive. Good selection on menu. Food was a generous portion and very tasty.

The wood-fired oven gives the pizza crust a really nice crisp. Thin base, not soggy at all. Toppings are fresh, simple stuff done well. That's what I come for.

Great for a quick lunch. Found a solid gluten-free burger here, got it to go. Came together fast, no fuss. Hit the spot when you're in a rush.

The staff were so kind when we arrived drenched from a rainy bike ride. They offered us blankets and hot tea without us even asking. That kind of thoughtful hospitality is really nice to see.

First time trying their tapas. The grilled octopus was so tender, and the olive oil they used was really fragrant. The seafood paella was good too, but the octopus was the star for me.

The Lord of the Grill sharing board is massive, enough for three easily. The lamb chops were the highlight, perfectly charred and juicy. Ended up with a full takeaway box.

Solid all-day breakfast, well presented. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Good spot for a business meeting near the station. Coffee was a bit slow to arrive, but overall a reliable option.

The bacon and egg sandwich was spot on, and they have loads of outdoor tables.

Lovely spot in Hartington. The outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny afternoon. I had the scones with clotted cream, and they paired nicely with a pot of their house blend tea. The tea selection could be a bit more adventurous, but it was a pleasant, quiet break.

The full English is a proper portion for the price. You get all the usual bits - the bacon was just right, not too crispy. The black pudding was the highlight for me, really flavourful. Left me full for hours.

A bit tricky to find down that little side street, but glad we did. The welcome was genuinely warm, which made all the difference. Felt like a proper neighbourhood spot.

Late lunch, and the manager was so kind. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with our food. A really pleasant spot.

Nice, laid-back spot for a casual bite. We had a pizza and couldn't finish it, so they gave us a box to take it home. Simple, no-fuss.

A cosy spot in the centre. The hot chocolate was rich and perfect for the chilly afternoon. I was impressed by their cheese board selection—the staff suggested a local cider that paired beautifully with the blue cheese. A nice little find.

Booked the upstairs function room for a private do. The team handled everything perfectly, really clear with communication beforehand. They were so attentive on the night, nothing was too much trouble. Made the whole event run smoothly.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a casual meal. The staff are always welcoming and the food quality is consistently good.

The steak and ale pie here is a proper portion. What I really liked was the freshness of the vegetables served alongside. They tasted just-picked, which made the whole meal feel balanced and wholesome. A solid, reliable spot for a satisfying lunch.

Nice spot for a quick coffee with the dog. Log burner keeps it cosy. Small car park is a bit tight, but manageable. Service was efficient.

Been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and quick, which is just what you want when you're after a quiet pint. They really get the little things right, like making sure your glass is never empty for too long. A very comfortable place to unwind.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a clean, old-school spot with comfy booths and loads of space. The staff were really friendly, which was nice. Got the classic burger, solid.

Popped in for breakfast. The full English was spot on, bacon crispy, beans not too sweet. Good portion for the price. Staff were nice. Cosy little spot.

Popped in for a quick bite. The vegan burger was solid, really hit the spot. Staff were super chill with our little one running around, which was a relief. Nice, relaxed spot.

Vegan breakfast was solid. Hot coffee hit the spot. Staff were quick and helpful, got my order out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch break.

This place is just so cozy. I keep thinking about coming back for a simple, relaxed meal. The vibe really lets you unwind.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of their chocolate tart. The espresso was a bit too dark for my taste, but it worked surprisingly well with the rich, sweet dessert. Nice little spot to unwind.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Staff were friendly, place had a good vibe. Got the chicken burger and chips, came out fast which was perfect for my lunch break. Burger was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot.
