Been coming here for years for the full English. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back. The bacon is always cooked just right, not too greasy. You know exactly what you're getting, which is rare these days.

Cute spot with lovely decor. Had the full English - eggs were spot on, bacon nice and crisp. The gluten-free toast was a thoughtful touch. Tea selection is impressive, tried the Earl Grey. A solid choice for a relaxed breakfast.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated how comfortable the seating was, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my lunch. The sandwiches are fresh and the fillings are generous. A very pleasant spot for a quiet bite.

Been coming here for years, and their vegan selection is always spot on. The raspberry truffle is a little treat I grab every time. It's just consistently good.

Popped in for a late lunch. The pepperoni pizza was spot on, really good crust. Staff were nice and quick. Prices are decent for what you get.

Veysel was so good! He was patient with our indecisive table, and kept checking in without being pushy. Really made the whole evening with friends flow nicely.

Decent neighbourhood spot. Prices are fair, you get a good portion for what you pay. I had the fish and chips, the portion was generous. It's a solid choice for a casual meal without breaking the bank.

We pop in for coffee before our morning walks. It’s a nice little routine. The flat white is consistently smooth, and the staff remember our usual order. The place is always tidy, which I appreciate. Just a relaxed spot to start the day.

The lunch box was a nice surprise. Plenty of food for what you pay, felt like a proper little meal. The box itself was quite cute, actually.

Quick bite during lunch break. The place is clean, music gives off a nice old-school vibe. Got my food fast, which is all I needed. Decent spot for a quick meal.

Perfect for a quick break. Got the whole cake stand to myself, everything tasted fresh. Decent price for what you get.

A nice lunch spot with a good selection of healthy options. The ingredients tasted very fresh, which I really appreciate.

A lovely little spot. The cakes are the real star here, so light and not too sweet. It's a very comfortable place to sit for a while, the chairs are actually quite supportive! Prices felt fair for the quality.

The gluten-free pasta was cooked separately, which I appreciated. It had a nice al dente texture, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. A solid option for anyone with dietary needs.

Lovely spot by the river for lunch. The light in there is just right, not too bright. Food was tasty and portions were decent. A really pleasant, relaxed vibe.

Good choice of food, excellently prepared and presented. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We’ll certainly go again.

Solid spot for a quick lunch in Buxton. The owner is genuinely friendly, which made the service feel efficient and pleasant.

A group of us went for the 'Rock & Roll' night. The entertainer was excellent if a bit to loud. The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much. Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. The sweets were all good as well.A grand night was had by all.

Been coming here for years, and the salted caramel brownie is still the one I order every time. Just the right amount of gooey.

The cakes look so fresh, definitely trying one next time!

Loved the location, right at the top of the hill. It’s got that proper old-school pub feel, really cosy and welcoming. Spotlessly clean too! Spotted a pool table and darts board, which is a nice touch.

Loved the no-phone rule here. It was so nice to just talk properly for a change. The old-school decor is really cosy, too.

The staff were really friendly, even though it was packed. Food came out quick and hot, which I always appreciate. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and the chips were proper.

Lovely food, but service was a bit slow last time. We were catching up with friends and it took a while to get our mains. Still, the atmosphere is perfect for a group chat.

The chicken gyoza ramen was my first try here. The broth had this deep, savoury flavour that really hit the spot. The gyoza inside were a nice surprise, still juicy. Will be back for that bowl.

Dog-friendly spot, the bar staff were really nice. They even brought a bowl of water for our dog without us asking. Made it easy to relax with a pint. 👍

Great pint of Guinness, perfectly priced. The staff are lovely, made our evening.

A solid halal spot with decent variety. Staff could've been a bit more cheerful, though.

Lots of veggie and halal choices on the menu, which was a nice surprise. The lamb chops were still the highlight for me though.
