The Lord of the Grill sharing board is massive, enough for three easily. The lamb chops were the highlight, perfectly charred and juicy. Ended up with a full takeaway box.

The Sunday buffet has a great variety of fresh, quality ingredients. It's a bit pricey if you don't have a big appetite, but the focus on a few well-made dishes is nice.

Solid all-day breakfast, well presented. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Good spot for a business meeting near the station. Coffee was a bit slow to arrive, but overall a reliable option.

The jungle curry had a real kick, perfect for a cold evening. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the spice.

Had the full English breakfast after a morning stroll. The sausages were nicely browned and the pancakes were really fluffy. Just a nice, relaxed spot to sit for a while.

Stopped in for dinner while visiting Buxton. The young staff were really attentive, which made the whole evening feel relaxed. Came back the next night just for the pies, they were that good.

Late lunch, and the manager was so kind. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with our food. A really pleasant spot.

Nice, laid-back spot for a casual bite. We had a pizza and couldn't finish it, so they gave us a box to take it home. Simple, no-fuss.

A cosy spot in the centre. The hot chocolate was rich and perfect for the chilly afternoon. I was impressed by their cheese board selection—the staff suggested a local cider that paired beautifully with the blue cheese. A nice little find.

The gluten-free option for the fish was a thoughtful touch. Really appreciate having that choice.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a casual meal. The staff are always welcoming and the food quality is consistently good.

Stopped in on a hot afternoon. The front yard provided a nice shady spot. Tried a couple of the local ales on offer, particularly the Moot Ales from Matlock. Solid choice for a quick, cool drink.

Service was really on point with my nut allergy. They checked everything without making a fuss, which is a relief when you're eating out. Felt looked after, no stress.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a clean, old-school spot with comfy booths and loads of space. The staff were really friendly, which was nice. Got the classic burger, solid.

Popped in for breakfast. The full English was spot on, bacon crispy, beans not too sweet. Good portion for the price. Staff were nice. Cosy little spot.

The cheese and onion pie was the main reason I came back. It's got a really nice, flaky crust and the filling is properly rich. Just a solid, comforting dish. The place itself is quite cosy, which makes it a good spot for that kind of meal.

Service was really nice, George and Sonia were so friendly. They even brought a little extra fruit for my daughter, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff seemed genuinely happy to help.

Popped in for a quick bite. The vegan burger was solid, really hit the spot. Staff were super chill with our little one running around, which was a relief. Nice, relaxed spot.

This place is just so cozy. I keep thinking about coming back for a simple, relaxed meal. The vibe really lets you unwind.

As a coeliac, I'm always nervous eating out. But their separate gluten-free menu is huge! Felt so relaxed for once. Shared a few plates with friends and everything was spot on. A real find for dietary needs.

Been coming here for years. The curry's always spot on, just like the first time. Service is friendly and quick, never lets you down.

Been coming here for years, and their Vietnamese iced coffee is still the one I order every time. Strong, sweet, just the right amount of condensed milk. It’s the thing that keeps me coming back.

Save room for the sticky toffee pudding. The sponge is so moist, and the warm toffee sauce has a deep, almost caramel-like flavour. The chocolate fondant was good too, with a proper gooey centre.

Love that the menu changes daily based on the market. The pork belly was fantastic today, so tender and flavourful. Keeps me coming back to see what's new.

Took a group of 30+ here. Food was solid, especially the pasta. Service handled the big order without a fuss, which is tricky. Did have a bit of a wait for the mains to come out, but that’s understandable with a crowd this size.

Booked the covered patio for a party. Ryan and the team were super helpful with all the planning. Everyone liked their food and drinks. The space felt really nice and private, just what we needed.
