The margaritas are really nice with the food. They have a good choice of tequila and mezcal, which is great. The staff were friendly and the place felt comfortable to sit in for a while.

Afternoon tea was solid. Sandwiches were fresh, scones came out warm. Good selection overall. Service was efficient, no fuss. A bit pricey for what it is, but convenient location for a business catch-up.

Stumbled upon this place by chance. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the food is incredibly fresh. Drinks were spot on too. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A solid find!

The sticky toffee pudding was the real star here, just like a proper homemade one. The pub garden is lovely on a sunny afternoon, though it does get packed. Had to wait a bit for a table outside.

The butternut squash soup was a generous bowl, very hearty. The ice cream float was a nice touch, but for the total bill, I was hoping for a bit more. Portions felt a touch small for the price.

Proper fish and chips. The scampi was decent, and the chips weren't greasy. A solid pint of lager went nicely with it.

Popped in for a relaxed lunch. The grilled salmon salad was the highlight for me – the fish was so fresh and flaky, and the greens were crisp. It felt like a genuinely wholesome choice. Ended up staying for a berry compote, which was a lovely, light finish. Just a nice, easy-going meal.

Been coming here for years, and the desserts are always spot on. That chocolate torte last night? Perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Presentation is still lovely, but the portion felt a tiny bit smaller this time. Still, it's the one thing I keep coming back for.

Lovely spot, service was on point. The king prawns in black bean sauce were spot on, really authentic. They suggested a crisp white wine that cut through the richness perfectly. Plates were definitely cleared!

The food's quality is a real surprise for the price. Staff are quick and seem genuinely happy to be there, which makes a difference. My main was spot on, though the sides could've been warmer.

Been coming here for years. The fish pie's always spot on - creamy, flaky, and the mash on top is just right. It's the one thing I know I can count on.

Ordered online for a quick bite while traveling. Food was hot and ready exactly when they said it would be. 👍

Solid doner kebab spot. The meat was nicely seasoned and the pita was fresh. I grabbed a local lager with it, which cut through the richness perfectly. Hit the spot for a casual bite.

The pistachio-crumbed lamb was perfectly pink and just fell apart. Really enjoyed it.

The fish and chips were really good, fresh and hot. Service was decently quick even though it was quite busy. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast menu's consistency is what keeps me coming back. The full English is always cooked just right, never greasy. It's the one thing I can count on.

Popped in for a Sunday roast on a whim. Sat outside, which was lovely. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Decent pint selection too. Bit of a wait for the food, but worth it on a sunny afternoon.

Love what they've done with the old building. The rustic-modern vibe is spot on, lots of nice details. Cocktails are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for - the quality is there.

The burger was cooked just right, and the fries were crisp. The owner suggested a local craft beer that paired surprisingly well with the richness of the patty. A solid spot for a casual bite.

The curry was packed with flavour, really enjoyed it. The place itself has a nice, relaxed vibe - good lighting and comfy chairs. Would order from them again.

Tarantella's beef carpaccio was the highlight for me. The presentation was spot on, and the flavour really came through. The figs with Parma ham were a nice touch too. Found a new favourite spot in Cumbria.

The fish and chips were spot on. Cooked fresh to order, so the batter was crisp and the fish flaky. Ate in the little cafe next door as it was drizzling. Good, honest portion.

Nice spot for a post-hike pint. The log fire was a plus on a chilly day. Atmosphere is relaxed, and they have a friendly dog. Good selection of local ales. Service was efficient.
