Came in right before closing, they were about to go on vacation. Staff was still so friendly and didn't rush us at all. The hummus was lovely, and the lamb dish was delicious. A really nice, relaxed end to the evening.

This spot in San Juan, Alicante, has some really interesting ideas on the menu. I tried the deconstructed gazpacho—the textures were so cool, with the tomato sorbet and crispy croutons. A fun little twist on a classic.

The tuna tartare was the star. The fish was incredibly fresh, diced just right. The spice level was perfect for me, not too aggressive. They let me tweak the main course, but honestly, I'd go back just for that tartare.

Great spot right in the heart of the action. The terrace was lovely for a family dinner. They had a decent selection of local wines by the glass—the Monastrell paired nicely with the grilled meats. A bit pricey, but the setting made it worthwhile.

First time here and the staff's attention was incredible. They really took the time to explain the menu. The food was top quality, and you can even buy their wine to go. A solid spot for authentic Spanish vibes.

The fish was so fresh and the portions were huge! We shared a few plates with friends and everyone left stuffed. The vibe is really welcoming too, perfect for a casual catch-up.

The €35 set menu is a steal. We got a bunch of starters to share, then a main, dessert, and a drink each. Honestly, the food was way better than I expected for that price. Solid deal.

Cozy spot in the old town, feels like a traditional Spanish pub. The seating was comfortable, which made for a relaxed meal.

Came here twice on our trip. The portions are huge, and everything tasted really fresh. For the price, it's a solid choice if you're hungry.

The staff here are so nice, it makes grabbing a quick lunch feel easy. I had the chicken burrito, and it was really good. Just a comfortable spot for a simple meal.

Been going here for years. The grilled octopus is always tender, never rubbery. Prices are fair for the quality. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Solid spot.

Lovely spot right on the sea. We grabbed lunch on the terrace and just stared at the Mediterranean for ages. The view really is something else. My grilled octopus was tender and smoky, exactly what I wanted. A bit pricey for the portion, but I'd come back just for that view and the octopus.

Good coffee, solid pancakes. Came for ice cream, ended up staying for a late breakfast. Coffee was strong, pancakes were fluffy. It's a practical spot.

The lamb shank was the star. Braised for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. The sauce had a deep, savory flavor with a hint of rosemary. It came with mashed potatoes that soaked everything up perfectly. A bit on the pricey side, but the portion was huge.

Love that they do a small portion of fish and chips. Just right for a lighter lunch. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Grabbed a table on the terrace, food came fast. The view is the real star here. Burger was decent, fries were hot. Exactly what you need when you're short on time. A bit pricey for what it is, but the location is unbeatable.

Food quality is good, but the portions are a bit small for the price. Nice spot by the beach though.

The Ambar beer here is solid. It’s got a nice, crisp finish that works well with the food. That’s really what I come for. The coffee and ice cream selection is fine, but the beer is the thing that keeps it simple and good.

Came for the set lunch. Solid choice for the price. The soup was nicely seasoned, main course was generous. Good value for a weekday meal. Service was efficient, nothing fancy. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Came here for lunch and it was packed with locals! 😄 The vibe was lively. I tried their daily special, a simple pasta dish. It was good, nothing crazy, but you can tell why people keep coming back. Got a table outside just before the real rush hit.

I stopped in for a coffee after a walk along the front. The seats are so comfortable, really nice for a proper sit-down. It’s a quiet spot to just relax for a bit.

The lamb pathia and palak were spot on. Been looking for this level of flavor for ages. The lamb in both dishes was cooked just right, tender and full of that slow-cooked taste. Really hit the spot.
