The tomato broth was so rich and flavorful, not watery at all. I just kept sipping it from the spoon, even after the noodles were gone. The bone broth was good too, but the tomato one really stood out for me.

The Oreo mochi donut was my favorite. It had a nice chew, not too sweet. Grabbed one to go and it made my afternoon.

Gyu Kaku is a must-visit for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine! The variety of dishes is impressive, and the quality of the food consistently meets high standards. I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna Volcano appetizer!

The atmosphere at Kale My Name is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for brunch or a casual meal. The service is attentive, and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful.

The place is always clean, which I appreciate. Food comes out fast, and their app makes ordering for pickup a breeze. I grabbed a burger last time and paired it with a surprisingly decent house red—a nice little upgrade to a quick meal.

The mini cakes and mousses are a real treat. I appreciated the subtle sweetness—it was just right, not overpowering. The ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. A lovely spot for a mindful dessert.

Stopped by for a late-night bite. The Chicago dog was spot on - all the right toppings, poppy seed bun. Grabbed one of the outdoor tables. Simple and hit the spot.

The empanadas here are the real deal. Flaky, buttery crust, and the beef filling is packed with flavor. The papas rellenas are solid too, crispy outside and creamy inside. Just what you need for a quick bite.

The biscuits and gravy were spot on. Picked up my order, and the staff was really friendly. Their house coffee was a solid match for the meal—simple and strong, just right.

Love the brunch here. Simple dishes are always done right, and the cocktails are nice for the price. The space is cozy but gets packed, so service can be a little slow when it's busy. Still, the food is so good I don't mind waiting a bit.

Love that they opened a spot at Woodfield Mall! No more driving downtown just for their popcorn. It’s always fresh and buttery. A little pricey for a snack, but so convenient.

I tried the steak and eggs special. The eggs were perfectly cooked, but the steak was a bit overdone for my taste. Still, a decent portion for the price.

The staff took their time explaining the menu, which I really appreciated. They pointed out the fresh, seasonal ingredients in each dish and helped me pick something light and balanced. Very attentive service.

The spicy beef noodle soup is solid, with tender beef and mustard greens. The milk tea's sweetness can be adjusted, which is nice.

I come here for the coffee, it's always fresh and smooth. Love that they use organic beans. The atmosphere is quiet, good for reading. Nice local art too.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to downtown spot when I need a quick, reliable bite. The space is always clean, and those big windows make it feel open even when it's packed. Just a solid, comfortable place.

The location is super convenient for a quick lunch near the Loop. I appreciate that they have fresh, crisp salads on the menu for a healthy option.

Quick lunch spot. Owner clearly cares about the food. Staff is nice and patient, which helps when you're in a hurry. Got the chicken rice bowl. Solid for the price.

Cozy spot, feels like a family-run place. Staff were super friendly and checked on us a couple times without being overbearing. That made the whole lunch feel really relaxed.

The decor is gorgeous, real Mexican folk art everywhere. Cozy and authentic vibe. I just wish their wine list had a few more options by the glass to pair with the food. Still, a nice spot for a relaxed dinner.

The croissant was the star. Flaky, buttery layers that shattered perfectly with each bite. Not too sweet, just a hint of salt. The texture was spot-on. That's the kind of simple pastry I look for.

The empanadas are tasty, but they're pretty small. I ended up ordering three to feel satisfied. The space is nice though, lots of natural light and comfortable seating.

The croissants here are the real deal. Flaky, buttery, with that perfect shatter. The chocolate one had a rich, dark filling that wasn't too sweet. The plain one was just as good, simple and classic. They also had a solid-looking quiche, but I was there for the pastry. Went early Saturday, no wait.
