The roast was spot on, really fresh and flavourful. But the atmosphere is what got me. The lighting and decor just felt so cosy and welcoming, like a proper Sunday should.

Nice spot for a family meal. The house red was a good, easy-drinking choice that suited the relaxed vibe.

The coffee is fantastic, easily the best I've had in Newmarket. The owners are lovely and always have a smile, which makes stopping by feel really nice. A very comfortable spot for a quiet cuppa.

The vegan fish and chips are spot on! The batter is so light and crispy. A really nice spot for a chill coffee too.

Popped into Lottie's for a coffee. The pink decor inside and out is so cute, really brightens the place up. You can tell the owner puts her heart into it, service is always spot on. A nice little find.

Been grabbing breakfast here for years. The breakfast sandwich is spot on, and it's right by the station so I can dash in and out. Coffee's always good and hot. A bit pricey these days, but you're paying for the location.

Nice spot for a quiet coffee. Staff are friendly and efficient, the latte art was a nice touch. Good for a quick meeting or catching up on emails. Prices are reasonable for the location.

The staff here are so lovely. They remembered my name from my last visit a few months ago, which was a really nice touch. Makes it feel like a proper local spot.

Been coming here for years, and their burger night is the reason. Always the same quality - those patties are clearly handmade, never frozen. It’s just a solid, reliable spot for a good burger and a pint.

Been coming here for years. The service is always polite and helpful, never lets you down.

A nice, cosy spot. The music is pleasant and they have daily papers, so it's a relaxing place for a meal. The atmosphere is pretty good. It was a decent lunch break.

The vintage decor here is lovely, really cozy with all the mismatched china. A nice spot to unwind over a pot of tea. The scones were a bit dry, but the clotted cream was good.

The salmon and cream cheese on granary bread was spot on. Simple, fresh, and really hit the spot. Paired it with a crisp white wine from their short list, which worked a treat. Just a shame the coffee afterwards was a bit weak.

Found this spot on a busy street. Had the special – a lovely, light pasta. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch. Service was relaxed, maybe a bit slow, but it fit the mood. Nice little find.

The waffle was so light and fluffy, with just the right amount of Nutella. The strawberries were fresh, not too sweet. The staff were really nice about swapping the syrup for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. A lovely little treat.

Love that they have some less common Indian dishes on the menu! Tried the Goan fish curry and it was spot on. Portions are generous for the price, too.

Our regular lunch spot in Saffron Walden. Menu's got something for everyone, which is key. Staff are always friendly, and they're great with dogs. Just a solid, reliable place.

Lovely evening in the garden for dinner. The lower area is accessible, which was good to see. Our waitress Polly was just so kind and attentive, really made the night.

Been coming for years, the full English is always spot on.

The tandoori chicken was juicy and packed with flavour. But the portion felt a bit small for the price. The gulab jamun with Old Monk was a nice touch though.

Loved the vibe in this little indie spot. The sponge cakes are honestly so fresh and light, just perfect with a coffee. They’ve got a few tables out front for people-watching, which is a nice touch. Service was really sweet, too.

Diana was so helpful with the sauce and salad choices, really took her time. Even when the system had a little hiccup, she sorted it out calmly. Made the whole ordering bit much less stressful.

Nice spot in the town centre, lovely decor. The staff were friendly and helped me pick a glass of red that went perfectly with the lamb. It really made the dish for me. A bit on the pricey side for the portion, but the pairing was spot on.

The tea and cake were fresh and nicely presented, decently priced too. But what really stood out was seeing the staff handle a tricky customer with such calm. It was quietly impressive.
