The breakfast stack was hot and fresh, just right. But honestly, the best bit was the quiet morning light through the window. Felt like a proper pause before the day really began.

Been coming here for years, Parveen's always so friendly. Food's consistently good, even with the drive.

The curries are packed with flavour and came out piping hot for my takeaway. Really hit the spot.

Loved the outdoor tables. The sharing nibbles were spot on - peppered squid was tender, halloumi chips crispy. Just a really nice vibe for a sunny afternoon.

Food's decent for a quick bite. But heads up, the toilets are up a steep flight of stairs. Not ideal if you have mobility issues. Parking is also a short walk from the place.

Cosy spot, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The gentle buzz of other tables chatting was actually really nice, didn't feel too quiet or loud. Just a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal.

Cosy spot with low lighting, perfect for a quiet dinner. The staff were quick, no waiting around. Had the lamb rogan josh, and the wine list had a surprisingly decent Malbec that actually stood up to the rich spices. Music was a nice touch too.

Prices here are a pleasant surprise! The Penang beef was spot on, rich and tender. Didn't expect such a solid Thai menu tucked in a classic pub. Portions are generous for what you pay.

The self-service bit is actually pretty smart - you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Got the lunch special, which was a decent portion for the price. The space itself is nice and bright, though it can get a bit packed during peak hours.

Lovely, cosy spot. The staff were really helpful with my dietary needs, which made everything so much easier.

Tried their Scandinavian themed dinner. Every dish was clearly put together with care, and tasted good. I've been to a few of these events now, and the presentation here is a step above.

Been coming here for years to catch the game. It's always busy, good crowd. The screens are decent, sound's clear. Gets a bit loud when the home team scores, but that's part of it. A solid local for sports.

The seasoned fries are my go-to here. Always crispy and hot, perfect for sharing with friends while we chat. The Cajun ones have a nice kick too. Just a heads up, the portion isn't huge if you're really hungry.

Friendly staff, they offered tasters of the ales to help me choose. The food was good, but I really liked the vibe - the lighting was just right and the wooden booths felt cosy. A nice spot to unwind.

I’ve been here a few times now, and the ingredients always taste so fresh. The vegetables in particular have a lovely crispness to them. It’s nice to know the quality is consistent.

Been coming here for years, and the vibe is always spot on. Love that they kept the original Victorian details in the restoration. Just a really comfortable place for a simple dinner.

The pistachio milk cake was the standout. Really creamy, with a nice crunch from the nuts. The mochi was good too, chewy and not too sweet. A solid spot for a sweet treat.

Came in for dinner. The haddock was the standout. Fresh, flaky, perfectly cooked. Everything else was good, but that fish was next level.

The wood-fired pizza had a thin, crispy crust that didn't go soggy. Toppings were super fresh, especially the tomatoes. A solid choice for a casual bite.

A decent Wetherspoon's with a proper pub feel. I like the booths and the fireplace. Food is straightforward but arrives hot, service is friendly. It does get very busy on match days though, so timing is key if you want a booth.

Good buffet for the price. The seats are comfy, and they keep the food nice and hot.

The breakfast was lovely, but honestly, I just loved the vibe here. The high ceilings and big windows let in so much light in the morning. It felt really airy and relaxed.

The roast beef was exactly what I wanted. Tender, with a rich gravy that had depth. The Yorkshire pudding was light and crisp. Just a solid, comforting plate of food.

Popped in for a late lunch, just wanted something simple. The steak pie was proper hearty, the mash was smooth. Went down a treat with a pint of stout. Exactly what you want from a pub.
