Friendly staff. They were really helpful when we couldn't decide on a wine. Made the whole dinner feel relaxed.

I've been back for their spinach and cheese slice three times now. It's so good! Perfect for a quick catch-up with a friend over something tasty. The place is a little gem in Carlton, honestly.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always get it right. I'll just tell them what I'm in the mood for and my budget, and they'll point me to a coffee that hits the spot. That kind of reliable guidance is why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the onion rings are still the best. Always crispy, never greasy. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Loved the house-made granola with mango panna cotta, it was just the right amount of sweet. The staff are so friendly, and I really appreciate how they always check in without being overbearing. Makes for a very relaxed meal.

Had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich for lunch. The chicken was really fresh and juicy, not greasy at all. Appreciated that they had Bobby Cola too, a nice touch. A solid find near the hotel.

I love Monti! I bring all of my out of town family and friends here! It has a lovely atmosphere, a variety of seating options, and the menu is terrific. The staff are always smiling. I love that my local is also one of the best around!

The staff are so lovely! I was catching up with a friend for a late breakfast and really wanted the avocado toast from the lunch menu. They totally made it for us even though it was still breakfast hours. Such a nice vibe for a chill morning hangout.

Service was on point. Ordered the smoked lamb mandi and a mocha. Both came out quick, perfect for a lunch break. Lamb was tender, coffee rich. No fuss, just a solid quick bite.

Tesoro truly elevates suburban dining with its chic decor and outstanding service. The food quality is top-notch, proving that fine dining doesn't have to break the bank.

Megan was great. She actually asked how I liked my coffee, got it spot on. Always had a smile too. Made the morning a bit nicer.

The $12.50 set with congee and dough sticks is a nice, warm choice. The seats were comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Cash only, so had to use the ATM outside. A bit old school but it's fine. The place is always clean, service is always solid. Just a reliable spot.

The spinach pie is the reason I keep coming back. Flaky pastry, not soggy at all, and the filling has just the right amount of feta. The minestrone is a solid side, packed with veggies. Good for a quick lunch.

Nice to have an Asian bakery nearby. The buns are good, but the Plenty Valley store doesn't have the plant-based hotdog bun like others do.

Loved the spot by the Yarra. The fish of the day was spot on, really fresh and flaky. A solid choice when you're around here.

The barista was so kind about switching my order to dine-in last minute. Just that little bit of warmth made my coffee feel extra comforting.

Really liked the vibe here, it's super chill and not trying too hard. Perfect for catching up with friends over brunch. The menu's got a good mix of modern and classic stuff. My avocado toast was spot on. Could sit and chat for ages.

Finally found a proper dark rye in Melbourne! The density and flavour are spot on. Picked up a loaf to go with a robust Shiraz I had at home, and it was a perfect match. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Been coming here for years. The hot chips are always generous, just like they used to be. It's a busy spot, but that's part of the local vibe. Service is friendly, no fuss.

The poke bowl was fresh and generous, just the right lunch. Their coffee is good, but I was really impressed with the craft beer selection - a couple of local options paired nicely with the bowl. Sat outside to avoid the indoor chatter.

The almond croissant is a winner. Flaky outside, soft inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. Goes great with a coffee.

I would recommend the baked eggs (shakshuka), omelette and sandwiches from the shelf. French toast was pretty good too if you are a sweet tooth, too sweet for my liking. Pulled pork egg Benedict was not bad too. Good coffee!
