The staff here are so friendly and chatty, it really does feel like dropping by a mate's place for dinner. The cosy vibe is spot on for a chilled-out meal. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud when it filled up later on, but that's part of the charm, I guess!

Been coming here for years. The venison and cranberry pie is my go-to. It’s always the same – rich, hearty, and the pastry is spot on. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips is always spot on - crispy batter, fresh fish. It’s the one thing I know I can count on. A solid meal for under £15.

Standard Wetherspoons menu. Decent food, reasonable prices. Got a burger and a pint, didn't break the bank. Reliable spot for a quick meal and a drink.

Lovely little garden spot for a sunny day! The outdoor seating is really nice, but a heads-up - there's no indoor option or toilets here. Just plan ahead if you're staying a while.

Solid spot for a filling lunch. The homemade coleslaw was fresh, and the cheesy chips were a good portion. Prices are reasonable, and they take Amex, which is convenient. A reliable choice for a quick bite.

The chicken burger here is a proper one. Freshly made, juicy patty, not that dry fast-food stuff. Really hit the spot.

Tried their Mexican night buffet. The spread was solid, tacos were fresh, and they kept things moving. Got a bit crowded later, but a decent change of pace.

Tried the lunch special. Food arrived hot, which is a plus. Staff were efficient, not overly chatty. Good for a quick business meal.

The cream tea deal is decent - two warm scones with clotted cream and jam for £7. They were fresh and the staff were nice, even gave us a heads-up about the seagulls trying to snatch food.

The outdoor garden seating is so peaceful, and I love that they use fresh, local greens in their salads. Perfect for a healthy lunch.

Steak was spot on medium rare, so tender. Our big group all liked their food. Thanks to the kitchen and the team for the welcome.

The manager remade our pizza after a wait, which was a nice touch. Got a free drink on our next visit too. Pizza itself was decent, crispy crust.
