Loved the lively buzz here on a rainy morning. It's the kind of place that just feels right when the weather's grey. Grabbed a coffee and a pastry, sat by the window watching the world go by. The warmth inside was a lovely contrast to the drizzle outside. ☕️

A proper local's pub. I really appreciate that their classic pub fare feels homemade, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The fish and chips were spot on, the batter was light and the peas tasted garden-fresh. A reliable choice for a simple, satisfying meal.

Just a short stroll from the harbour. It was pretty quiet when we dropped by. The dirty fries are the real star here – loaded with all the good stuff, you've gotta try them to see what the fuss is about. So good!

The fish and chips were spot on. Light, crisp batter and the cod was cooked perfectly.

The scones were lovely and warm, served with really nice jam. Just a really good cream tea.

Great spot for lunch by the sea. The full English breakfast is cooked fresh, which I really appreciate. China plates are a nice touch for a beach cafe.

Been coming here for years now. The coffee's always spot on, exactly how I like it. That's the main thing for me. Some places change their beans or the grind, but not here. It's reliable.

Been coming here for years. The owners always remember you, makes it feel like a proper local spot. Nice that they’re dog-friendly too, makes it easy for a casual family stop.

Really liked the cozy, traditional pub feel here. The quirky decor adds to the charm. It's a very welcoming spot for a relaxed meal. My only note is that some of the booths are a bit snug, but the friendly service more than makes up for it.

Sunday roast hit the spot. Meat was tender, potatoes crispy, gravy rich. Just what you want on a lazy Sunday. Felt proper.

Stopped in for lunch, and the jacket potato was huge! Really appreciated the portion size for the price. The potato skin was crisp, and the filling was simple but fresh. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too.

The flat white was the highlight. Smooth, strong, with a perfect microfoam that held its texture to the last sip. The beans had a nice chocolatey note. That's what I come for.

My friends and I tried the burger here last weekend. Honestly, it's the best one I've had in the Bay Area. The patty was so juicy, and the bun was perfect. We ended up chatting for ages after finishing our food. Just a great spot to catch up.

The cream tea for two was a good deal. It’s quite filling, and the price felt fair for what you get. A solid, cosy spot for a proper sit-down.

Popped in for a browse, and the mushroom section is incredible. So many fresh local varieties I'd never seen before. Ended up leaving with a little bottle of truffle oil, which was a nice treat.

The new ordering screens are handy. Got the spicy chicken ramen, broth was rich and the noodles had a good bite. The chicken itself was a bit dry though.

The scones were lovely and fresh, the clotted cream was rich. I did notice the jam was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the overall quality of the ingredients was spot on. A nice, simple treat.

Lunch stop. The scotch eggs were delicious, a proper treat. Sat outside in the good weather, it was lovely. The cob salad and jacket potato were just right.

Been coming here for years, and the roast veg with wild garlic dressing is the reason. It's always spot on. That covered outdoor bit is a nice touch too, especially when it drizzles. Just a solid, reliable plate.

As a meat eater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here! The flavours are so delicate and vibrant. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The mushroom bao buns were a real highlight.

A nice little spot near the beach. The staff are always so friendly, which makes it a relaxing place to stop. I’ve tried their paninis and the hot chocolate is really good. They were very helpful about my nut allergy, too.

The flat white was really good, one of the best I've had. The seating was comfortable too, which made for a relaxing stop.

The Sunday carvery was a nice, easy lunch. The Yorkshire puddings were huge! I liked the variety of vegetables. It was a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal without any fuss.

Great little find for a casual lunch with mates. The food was tasty and didn't break the bank.

Great spot for gluten-free options. Their bread was so good I had to grab a loaf to take home. Nice and relaxed after checking out the hall opposite.

Love that they're dog-friendly! Had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and the coffee was spot on. Staff were really welcoming, made it feel like a cosy neighbourhood spot. Will definitely be back with my pup.

The staff were really friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes, which made choosing much easier. The food was good quality for the price.

Cosy little French spot, ideal for a relaxed dinner. The coq au vin was spot on, and the wine list had a few really interesting Burgundies that paired beautifully. A bit on the quiet side, but that suited us just fine.
