The coffee here is easily the best I've found in Torquay. Had it with a slice of their homemade carrot cake, which was still lovely and moist even though we popped in quite late. Staff were really nice about it.

Great for a quick lunch. The weekly special was a solid choice, came out fast and hit the spot. Just what I needed. Cozy spot with a good bar selection too.

Got a table as a walk-in on a busy Friday, which was nice. Service was attentive throughout. The menu has some interesting topping choices – I went for the truffle mushroom pizza. It was pretty good, though the base was a touch softer than I'd prefer. A decent spot.

The delivery is consistently quick and reliable, which is a real plus. Staff are pleasant and helpful too. The food is decent, though the portions can feel a bit small for the price.

Great vibe and the staff are lovely. The house red was a surprisingly good match for the Sunday roast, really hit the spot. 🍷

The private room was handy for our group. Menu had a lot of options, which helped as everyone wanted something different. The lamb shank was the standout for me, really tender and fell off the bone.

The risotto was spot on, and the seafood linguine had a nice kick. But the real star was the house red - a surprisingly smooth Sangiovese that paired beautifully with both dishes. Makes a difference when the wine list isn't an afterthought.

Always get the cheesy chips here. They’re made fresh when you order, so they come out piping hot. The portion is huge for the price, easily enough for two. I usually end up taking some home.

Always enjoy a carvery, not my 1st here which is why we go back. The food is good, affordable and the grandkids love it. The service was very good , it was busy and the waiting staff coped well. Generally very good

The wood-fired pizza base is incredibly light and tasty, just like some I've had in Italy. The subtle tomato base with Parma ham is spot on.

As a coeliac, I was genuinely impressed by the gluten-free menu here. So many choices! The tables are a bit snug, but the food portions are generous and everything tasted spot on. A really nice find.

Been coming here for years, and it's always consistent. Their special rice is the star - fragrant, fluffy, and just the right amount of spice. Still the top spot for Indian food around here.

Just stopped by for the shellfish platter. Really generous portion, enough for two. The prawns were sweet, mussels fresh. That view over the colourful houses was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was included with our stay. The ingredients felt fresh, especially the tomatoes and mushrooms. A nice, healthy start to the day. The view from the pub is lovely, right by the water.

The beef carvery was incredible, honestly. The owner and staff were so lovely and had a great sense of humour. They really went out of their way to make sure we were looked after.

Cosy spot with a real fireplace - perfect for a rainy evening. The ales and ciders are kept really well, which is so nice to see. A solid local pub.

The fish and chips are always spot on. Fresh cod, crispy batter that's never oily. Just a really solid, reliable plate every time.

Handy spot with its own free car park, a real bonus around here. Took the bus there, super easy. The portion sizes were decent for the price, felt like I got my money's worth. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Duck sekuwa was the highlight. Quick service for a lunchtime bite. Menu has lots of Nepalese dishes you don't see everywhere. Solid option if you're after something different.

Been coming here for years. The garlic chilli paneer is always spot on, just the right amount of heat.

The pork belly was cooked just right, crispy skin and tender meat. Burgers are solid too, juicy patties. Prawn tacos at the next table looked amazing, might try those next time. Good spot for a casual bite.

Breakfast for four came to under £30, drinks included. Everything was freshly cooked, which was nice.

Lovely, cozy spot. The staff were so welcoming to my family. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in the salad - crisp greens and ripe tomatoes. The chicken was nicely seasoned too. A relaxed lunch for us.
