The team here is genuinely warm. They remembered my name from a previous visit, which was a nice touch. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and they switch between languages effortlessly. Makes the whole experience feel relaxed.

The garden is so pretty at night with the fairy lights. Loved sitting under the pine trees.

The pizza crust is just right, not too chewy or hard. Fresh ingredients, and they have some decent seasonal specials. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Tried the tasting menu. The seared tuna was good, but the rabbit in Rossese sauce was the standout. Really tasted the local ingredients. A solid way to get a feel for the region's food.

The seafood platter was massive, easily fed two. The squid was tender, prawns fresh. My kid polished off his pizza, crust was thin and crisp. The Dolceaqua wine was a good local choice, not too heavy. Solid meal for the family.

Always friendly, right in the heart of the old city, the food is always delicious!

Been coming here for years. The feijoada is always spot on, and the seasoning is just right. Good selection of Brazilian staples. It's a solid choice in the neighborhood.

The goat cheese and honey crepe was the best part. Honestly, for what you pay, the portion size is generous. I left feeling pretty satisfied without spending a fortune.

Cozy family-run spot. The lamb stew was hearty, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. They suggested a robust red wine that paired beautifully with the rich flavors. Service was friendly, though a bit slow when they got busy.

The owner is super friendly, chatted with us for a bit. Felt like a neighborhood spot even though we just walked in. Staff was nice too, made the lunch feel relaxed.

The Spanish burger was really good, light bun and crispy chorizo. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated that they checked on us just the right amount—not too much, not too little. Made for a relaxed lunch.

No. 7 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Nice

The owners are so nice, you can feel they really care. It's a relaxed spot, and they make you feel at home. Food is simple but you can taste the effort. Just a nice, genuine place to eat.

The spaghetti with tuna and olives was the highlight. Pasta cooked just right, al dente. The tuna was fresh, not dry, and the olives added a nice salty kick. Felt like a simple, well-made dish you'd find in a small trattoria. Portion was decent for the price.

The polenta with lemon chicken was really tasty, the polenta had a nice creamy texture. The Bloody Mary was excellent too, perfectly balanced. Staff were super friendly, made us feel very welcome.

Carlos is a talented cook. I've been back several times for the empanadas and croissants. The croissants are consistently flaky and fresh. It's a reliable spot for a quick, quality bite.

Been coming here for years. Service is always friendly, they remember you. Called ahead last night, got the same warm welcome over the phone. Makes a difference when you live nearby.

The wine pairing was spot on for the price. But the main thing was the food. The lamb was cooked just right, tender and full of flavor. I'd go back just for that dish.

The lunch set menu was pretty good for the price. Had a nice starter and a decent main. Service was fine, though it got a bit slow when they got busy.

Idyllic place to while away a lunchtime in the South of France. Sublime views over the yachts at anchor in the blue, blue sea. Everything pristine from the waiters’ matelot tees and white trousers to the crisp, elegant white linen. Every table able to be in the shade or sunshine as requested. Light, super-fresh seafood (steaks/burgers if you must) - raw, grilled or fried. I had a carpaccio of red prawns, followed by grilled octopus washed down by half a bottle of Pouilly Fumé. Not cheap though!

The duck confit was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The gnocchi was a nice complement. Prices are fair for this level of quality in the area. Service was efficient.

Friendly staff, no doubt. But the real star was the lighting—soft, warm, and just dim enough to make the whole place feel like a secret. Made the simple pasta taste a bit more special.

The new owners are lovely, really welcoming. Had a relaxed lunch by the sea in Villefranche. The food was spot on, just what you want for a lazy afternoon. A nice spot to unwind.
