Convenient spot in Solana Beach. Easy parking and plenty of seating, perfect for hanging out before or after a beach walk.

The pretzel bites were stale, and the cheese dip tasted off. Pairing it with a decent beer might have helped, but it didn't.

The carne asada fries were a solid, hearty choice. The wait was long, but they're clearly cooking to order. I paired it with a michelada from the bar—that spicy, savory kick was just right for cutting through the richness.

Ordering at the kiosk was easy. The staff was really nice and answered my questions. Just a heads up, they don't open until 8 AM, so I had to wait a bit. The space itself is clean and bright, which I liked.

Been coming here for years, and Tyler’s always the reason I keep coming back. He remembers what I like, never rushes me, and actually listens when I ask about the menu. That chocolate brownie? Still just as good as the first time.

Been coming here for years, and the sauces are still the star. That rich, slow-cooked flavor on the pasta keeps me coming back. The tiramisu is a solid finish, too.

Nice little spot in Carlsbad Village. The 'Glaze and Grind' sign really fits the modern pastry shop vibe.

The hot chocolate is thick, almost like a melted chocolate bar. It’s sweet but not cloying. My kid finished the whole mug, which says a lot. A solid choice for a morning drink.

The cocktails here are really well-made. I tried the Black Gold and the spicy margarita - both had great flavor without being overly sweet. Their wine list looked solid too. A nice spot for a drink.

My go-to is the French onion soup. It's just a classic done right. The cafe has this charming vintage vibe that makes you feel like you're in a little Parisian corner.

Really liked the cozy hat theme inside! It’s a bit small, so we grabbed a table upstairs. The view of the beach from there was a nice surprise.
