Jacek's gin tasting was a highlight. Two hours flew by with his stories and tips. The paired small plates were a nice touch, really complemented the spirits. Solid way to spend an evening.

Lovely Sunday roast in the beer garden. Staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is spot on. Just roasts on Sundays, but they do it well.

Lovely staff, really friendly. The fish and chips were spot on - perfectly crisp batter, and the chips had that proper fluffy inside. Best pub in Caterham for a reason.

Nice pub with a big beer garden. Had a couple of their cocktail deals, which were decent. Watched the match on the big screen, good atmosphere for that. A solid spot for a pint and the game.

The food was hot when it arrived, which I always appreciate. The fish and chips were well-prepared, the batter was crispy and the fish inside was flaky. Portions are decent for the price, especially with the set menu.

Spacious and comfy inside, but I really loved the enclosed outdoor bit. Had a pint there on a sunny afternoon, just perfect for a chill.

Lovely countryside pub, very cozy. The pig theme decor is actually quite charming and fun. We sat in the garden for lunch, which was a great spot. The rustic atmosphere really makes it feel like a proper escape.

A really pleasant experience. Food good. Service was exceptional . We were very well cared for waiter was very charming and attentive . We will return.

Cool 1920s vibe. All that Lalique glass is something else. Just a really unique spot for a proper drink.

This place is a hidden gem! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth a visit for the views alone.

Popped in with a few mates for a catch-up. The vibe is spot on, especially with the pool tables. The service was quick and friendly. My old fashioned was well-made, a proper sipper for the evening. Solid spot for a casual drink.

Celebrated my birthday there and it was great! The staff were lovely, the service was excellent, and the cocktails were amazing!

I didn't realise when booking that this was actually the on-site restaurant/canteen for a retirement village, although they do accept bookings from the general public.

Happy hour cocktails are a steal! The espresso martini was spot on. We shared some savoury crepes too, perfect for a casual catch-up with mates. The vibe is just right for a relaxed evening.

Always book ahead here, it's so popular. We got lucky and snagged a spot for a quick drink, but that's rare.

Selected for Bars in London

Alessandro's welcome set the tone. The wine list had some interesting local options, and the staff knew their pairings. The atmosphere is relaxed, almost like a friend's dining room. A bit of a find.

No. 20 of Bars in London

The cocktails are spot on. Really liked the custom glassware, and the balance in each drink was just right. Bartenders were friendly, the place had a nice relaxed feel. A solid spot for a proper drink.

The global selection of fresh ingredients really stood out. Had the sea bass with seasonal veg - everything tasted incredibly vibrant. A bit pricey, but you can tell where the cost goes.

The Boddingtons cask was spot on, just how it should be. I'm not usually one for cask ale, but this was a really nice surprise. They had a few gluten-free options too, which is handy.

The pastries were so light and delicate. The scented candles they pair with each one really added something special to the whole vibe. A lovely, thoughtful touch.

Friendly welcome on arrival. We ordered the sharer platter - chicken strips, seasoned fries, mac and cheese bites, onion rings. All good, portion was generous and filling. Decent beer selection too.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The sticky toffee pudding was the main event for me – generous portion, really rich and warm. Felt like a proper treat for the price. The rest of the menu looked solid too.

The pork roast with cauliflower cheese was the standout. The pork itself was cooked perfectly, not dry at all. The cauliflower cheese was creamy and rich, a really good portion. That's what I came for.

Eva was so helpful with our last-minute booking and dietary needs. The sparkler cake was a nice touch!

A decent pub. The fish and chips were pretty good, the batter was light and crispy. The atmosphere was fine for a quiet weekday lunch. A bit pricey for what it is, but I'd go back.

Kitchen's closed on Sundays, but the pint was spot on. Menu looks good, will have to come back for food.

Decent spot near Earl's Court station, so very handy. The pasta was pretty good, nicely al dente. Service was fine, though a little slow when we wanted the bill.

Great spot for a quick bite. Staff are friendly, the bartender makes solid cocktails. Place is clean and has a good vibe. Got my order fast, perfect for a lunch break.

Steak and ale pie was rich, came out steaming hot. Sticky toffee pudding was good too, not overly sweet. Solid meal, just a bit pricey for what it is.

Popped in for a pint after work. It was packed, but managed to snag a quiet corner booth. Just the spot to slowly enjoy a good, cold beer and unwind.
