We visited pre show so only had an hour but the excellent food came quickly and we made our deadline. Loved the ambiance of the place too. Between us we had the burger and shrimp risotto and sea bass. All were fantastic! Highly recommended.

Aladino had no record of our reservation.  That&rsquo;s on you.  Thankfully I had printed out our reservation.  Won&rsquo;t use you again. It was very embarrassing to have my husband get up during the meal to pay.

When I booked the Wyndham Grand Bar and Lounge I did not realise it was going to be in such a luxurious place! I was told the meal would take place at their bar, not at the restaurant. But God I was not disappointed.  The food was excellent, the staff was very looking after us very well. The cocktail was insane and the atmosphere very nice. Highly recommend but not for a small budget.

O Rei de Espeta serves tasty BBQ skewers Brazilian style. The service was fantastic and Graziella was a very friendly and welcoming host. There is a large selection of tasty skewers and side dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed the BBQ sausages (salsichas), chicken skewers and the pork sirloin. Also the feijoa preto, a Brazilian side dish was superbly prepared by the cheerful &lsquo;chefa de cozinha&rsquo;. The feijoa was well seasoned, filled with bacon and chorizo chunks and slow cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our dinner at O Rei and would definitely recommend giving this Brazilian BBQ a try, you won&rsquo;t be disappointed.

Very busy and lively restaurant with a mix of locals, family parties and a few tourists.  Great atmosphere and large servings of delicious food.  Very reasonably priced and a real family run business.

READ THIS REVIEW. I have not read any other reviews which mention that this is an intimate, one table only dining experience which is magical, earnest and heartfelt. The dishes change daily depending on what organic, locally sourced produce is available that day. Jo&atilde;o (the person running the ENTIRE place) was so attentive, sensitive and passionate. He made and introduced every single dish which was incredibly sentimental. The entire concept is so well thought out. The dishes, illustrations on the wall, wooden spoons are all considered and from the Algarve.As someone who constantly seeks interesting and exciting food - I have been more than satiated, I&rsquo;ve had my f*cking socks blown off. Absolutely astounding. So much appreciation for the infinitely talented Joao 🙏🏽
